2 Days Later... 

I began waking up slowly to the light of the sun blinding me through the window. My eyes slowly squinted open.

I was facing away from Jack but I could feel his arms around me and his front pressed against my back. I smiled softly as I grabbed one of his hands and interlocked my hand with it. 

"Baby.." I said quietly and kind of tiredly multiple times as my hand kind of played with his. Eventually I felt and heard him shifting a bit behind me. His hand let go of mine and that's when I turned to face him. He rubbed his eyes a bit little bit before slowly opening them. His eyes met mine right away.

"Good morning..." Jack whispered with a raspy voice as he smiled tiredly, his arm going back around my waist loosely. "Good morning.." I smiled as well as I kissed him quickly. 

For a while, we just laid there, talking quietly to each other. It was really nice and peaceful. But after a few minutes, Jack had to get going so he'd have time to get ready at his house. 

So Jack got up and got his sweats and t-shirt back on. Since I was only in my a short t-shirt and underwear, Jack insisted on walking himself out.

He leaned down to peck my lips quickly before we said goodbye to each other while smiling.

After that, he left.

When he left, I got up from bed. I picked up my clothes from last night that were all over the ground then went to my closet, putting them away. After that, I grabbed some clothes to get dressed for today. 

I put on a red tank top as well as some black sweatpants. I tied my hair into a high messy bun, brushed my teeth then went to school with Jack. 

Lunch... 

During philosophy, Alena and I decided to hang out during lunch since it's been a while outside of class. 

So once the bell rung, we walked out of class together. The first thing we did was go to each other's locker to switch out our binders and stuff. 

We knew of a mall that was only a five minute drive away from the school so instead of just sitting in the cafeteria, we decided to go there.

So we quickly went to Alena's car and drove there.

Jackson's P.O.V... 

Once the lunch bell rang, I went straight to my locker because I had to get my binders for my next class. 

Just as I closed my locker though, I felt a small tap on my shoulder. Quickly, I locked my locker before turning around. 

I was faced with Anabelle.

"Hey." Ana said while smiling. "Oh, hey Ana." I smiled a bit as well. Now I just kind of felt awkward with her around, even though my suspicions weren't necessarily true. 

"I like your jacket. It looks good on you." Ana said, still while smiling. I looked down at her hand as she slid it down my upper arm while saying this. Well then.. this was weird... "Uhm.. th-thanks.." I said pretty awkwardly. Luckily she took her hand away pretty soon. 

"Of course. So anyway, do you want to hang out?" Ana asked me with quite a friendly tone. 

Honestly, although Roni said I didn't have to keep my distance from her, I wasn't sure if I even wanted to be around her too much. But I also felt like I was being unfair to Ana. What if all of this was just friendliness? Then I would be being all distant, awkward and harsh towards her for no reason.

I just had to wait it out. I'd only be distant if Ana really proved in some way that she still liked me.

"Yeah, for sure." I answered while smiling. "Great, let's go." Ana said, her smile growing.
