Wednesday...

Today was the day of my class trip to Louisiana. Our flight was at 10:00 am and I had to get to school at around 8:30 which meant I had to wake up at 7:30.

Once my alarm went off, I got out of bed and went to get dressed. I obviously decided to dress comfortable. I put on a navy blue sweatshirt with some grey sweat shorts. I left my hair down then brushed my teeth. After that, I pack the last few things I'd need in my mini suitcase and then I was ready to go.

I went outside and to my car. I drove to school and when I got there, I saw a school bus at the front, along with most of my classmates. I parked my car then walked over to where the rest of my class was. I found Jeremy and we greeted each other with a quick hug. "Want to sit together?" He asked me with a smile. "Yeah, definitely." I smiled.

Everyone started getting on the bus about ten minutes later. Jeremy and I found a seat and sat beside each other. The drive to the airport was about forty-five minutes and Jeremy and I talked the whole way there.

Once we got there, we went inside and found the waiting spot for our flight about ten minutes later. But another ten minutes later, an attendant made an announcement. She said that our flight was being delayed by an hour and now was going to be at 11. We pretty much heard everybody sigh.

Jeremy turned to me. "Hey, it's kinda stuffy here. Wanna go outside for a bit?" He asked me. "Yeah, let's go." I smiled as I stood up. So the two of us went outside and we found a bench that was near an entrance. We sat there and continued talking about random things.

Jackson's P.O.V...

It was 9:30 am right now and I was just sitting on my desk chair. All I could think about was Roni and the fact that she was going to be leaving on a trip with Jeremy very soon now. The more I thought about it, the more it started to bother me.

Why was this bothering me so much? I just couldn't stand the thought of them being alone together. The thought itself just pissed me off more than anything.

I just wanted to keep my 100 points. I couldn't lose even 1 point. But this trip was going to make me lose way more than just 1. I wanted every single one of my points to be safe.

I started imagining Roni in my head. I could picture her so easily, pretty much each strand of hair on her head. But what I was picturing most was those eyes. Those goddamn gorgeous eyes... I could gaze into them literally all day..

As I continued to picture her, suddenly everything clicked... I figured it out...

I suddenly knew why she gave me butterflies in my stomach, why her eyes mesmerized me so much, why I was so jealous when she was with Jeremy and why I was so angry about this trip...

I had to go see her. I needed to tell her everything. What I just figured out couldn't wait.

I checked the time and saw that it was nearing 9:40. FUCK. Her flight was at 10. I had to stop her. I got up and rushed out of my room. I grabbed my coat and ran out the front door.

Veronica's P.O.V...

It was around 10:15 when Jeremy's phone started ringing. He talked on the phone for about a minute before hanging up.

"So apparently, my friend wants me to come back inside. Do you want to come too?" He told me. I was actually really enjoy it outside. I liked the cold breeze. "No I'll stay outside for a bit. I'll come back in soon though." I told him with a smile. "You sure?" He asked me as he stood up. "Yeah, go ahead." I told him.

So, we said goodbye and he left.

Jackson's P.O.V...

I got to the airport after a pretty long time but right when I found parking, I rushed out of the car and full-speed ran inside the first entrance I could find.

What I had to tell Roni couldn't wait for anything...

I began running around the airport, not looking just for Roni, but for anyone in her class that could lead me to her. I didn't even waste a second to check what time it was on my phone so I didn't know if I was late. But I couldn't find anybody.

No matter how tired I was, I didn't stop running around the gigantic airport.

After a couple minutes of non-stop running, I just had to give up. I couldn't find anybody in the packed airport.

I had to face it.. I missed her... I took to long to realize what was in front of me this entire time. And now she was gone with Jeremy who was probably going to steal her heart away from me... This was it, I was going to lose my 100 points..

I took my time walking out of the airport since I had all the time in the world now... I had my hands in the pockets of my coat and my head was hung low as I walked out of the airport.

I looked up slowly as I was walking and my heart dropped when I saw Roni like two meters away from me, walking towards the airport with her suitcase. She stopped as well when she looked up and saw me.

Why was she here? I knew for sure that it was well past 10 now.

"Roni! W-What're you doing here?" I asked her, clearly very surprised. "My flight was delayed until 11.. What're you doing here though?" She asked me, looking very confused.

I sighed in relief as I heard this. I made it in time. I didn't lose her.

I didn't hesitate to walk up to her and pull her into a tight hug. She hugged me back after a few seconds. A huge smile spread across my face as I was very happy that I didn't miss her.

Veronica's P.O.V...

"I had to tell you something. It couldn't wait." He told me, still while hugging me. "What is it?" I asked him.

He pulled from the hug and held both of my shoulders firmly. I furrowed my eyebrows a little bit, a small smile on my face. He leaned in close to me to whisper something into my ear.

"I like you too, Veronica.. a lot."
