Friday... 

Today was the last day of first semester and to me, it was a bitter/sweet feeling. On one hand, this semester was shit because of the workload and it was extremely relieving to know that it was over now.. but also, it meant that high school was almost over. We only had one more semester to go.

High school was an absolute mess for me, but I also enjoyed a lot of it.

Anyway, when my alarm went off, I took my time shutting it off before getting up. Tiredly, I went over to my closet to get dressed for the day. 

I put on a tight fitted and slightly cropped black turtleneck shirt with some light blue jeans. I put my hair half up half down, brushed my teeth, then headed to school for my last day with Jack.

Alena's P.O.V... 

After shutting off my alarm clock in the morning, I stretched my arms while yawning and keeping my eyes closed. 

I stayed in bed for about five minutes before gathering the energy to get up. 

I tied my hair in a messy bun then went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After doing that, I headed downstairs for breakfast. 

When getting to the kitchen, I grabbed a bowl then went to the cabinet. I grabbed the cereal and poured it in the bowl before pouring the milk. I grabbed a spoon and started to eat the cereal as I left the kitchen.

I walked to the front door with my cereal bowl in my hand. With the spoon in my mouth, I opened the front door and walked outside. 

Like usual, I grabbed the mail from the mailbox then went back inside. I went back into the kitchen and put my bowl down on the island as well as the mail. 

While still eating my cereal, I started looking through the mail, flipping through envelopes. 

I almost choked on my cereal when I saw an envelope marked with the Harvard logo. Luckily I managed to swallow the cereal though.

With wide eyes and a pounding heart, I quickly started to rip open the envelope, a big smile on my face. When I finally got the envelope open, I quickly took out the letter with my shaky hands and opened it. 

When I read the first sentence on the letter, my heart literally stopped for a moment. 

I got in.. I FUCKING GOT INTO HARVARD! 

I literally squealed with joy and I started tearing up as I looked at the beautiful letter. 

Lunch... (Veronica's P.O.V)

So far, my two classes were obviously a breeze. We didn't do any work and we got to socialize the entire time. It was great. 

But now was lunch so I said goodbye to Alena then went downstairs to my locker. Obviously I congratulated her like ten more times for her acceptance before actually leaving though. I switched out my binders quickly then  headed to the cafeteria. 

I quickly spotted Jeremy putting down his backpack at a table so I started to walk up to him. When I got there, we greeted each other with smiles and we both sat at opposite sides of the table. 

Shortly after, Shayna and Jack showed up as well. They both greeted us and Shayna sat beside me while Jack sat across from me. No more than a minute later, Coltin and Cora showed up together as well, Cora sitting on my side and Coltin sitting on the guys' side. 

The six of us hung out and had great and hilarious conversations like usual, just enjoying the freedom of no work or stress.

"Hey guys, I think the end of this semester calls for a celebration.." I spoke up, a smirk beginning to form on my face. Everyone looked at me. "How about another gam night?" I asked them all, my smirk turning into a grin. "Yes!" Shayna agreed very quickly, a lot of excitement in her tone. "Definitely." Jack said, also grinning.
