The Next Day...

I slowly began waking up to sounds of the birds chirping outside the treehouse. My eyes slowly opened to see I was partially on top of Jack still. Now I was lying more on the right of him and I was more against him than on top of him. But Jack's arms were still very loosely around me.

I looked up at him and smiled softly when I saw he was still asleep. My smile grew even more when I saw the slightest hint of a smile on his face even though he was asleep. His hair was messy as well, making him look even cuter.

My hand moved up and I ran my fingers through his hair, pushing it back to move it from his face. I sat up a little bit, making his arms move off me. I pushed my hair behind my ear before cupping his face with one hand, leaning down and beginning to kiss him gently on his soft lips.

Only five seconds later, I felt Jack's arm go back around my waist as he began gently kissing me back. Both of us smiled against each other as we kissed slowly.

After ten seconds, both of us slowly pulled back, looking into each others eyes.

"How the hell can someone be so goddamn gorgeous..." Jack whispered with a soft smile as he ran his fingers through my hair. His words made me blush as my smile grew. He noticed and giggled. His hand gently held my jaw from underneath my chin and he pecked my lips quickly. "As if you're not gorgeous.." I scoffed, speaking quietly. "Well I mean, I am.. but not as much as you.." He said in a jokingly cocky way, making both of us laugh.

After talking quietly for about three more minutes, we decided to get up and head to our own houses so we could get ready for school.

Once I went home, I went up to my room and to my closet to get dressed. I got dressed in a black cropped t-shirt along with some grey sweatpants. I put my hair in a high ponytail, brushed my teeth, then headed outside to meet up with Jack. Once we met up, we began driving to school together.

"So, we're definitely gonna confront Ema, right?" Jack asked me with a smirk, his eyes staying on the road though as he drove. "Hell yeah. I hope it's humiliating too." I answered, a devilish smirk on my face as well, making Jack laugh. "At lunch, she won't know what hit her." Jack said, his smirk growing.

English...(Jackson's P.O.V)

Once the bell rang, Roni and I said goodbye and I headed to my English class. Once I got there, I walked in at sat at my regular seat with Dean. About a minute later, Dara and Ema walked into the room. Like usual, they sat at their table right in front of us.

Ema was quick to turn to me again though. Seeing her now, I actually felt even more hateful feelings towards her.

"Hi Jack." She said with her 'friendly' smile. Right.. she was playing her friendly card on me right now.. Well, I was going to give her a taste of her own medicine. "Hey." I said back, trying to sound friendly as well. "I'm really hoping we'll be able to go on another date." She said, still sounding friendly. "Hmm.. maybe.." I said, finding it really hard to lie. Her smile grew before she turned back in her seat.

Lunch...(Veronica's P.O.V)

Once the bell rang, I went to my locker quickly to switch out my binders. But just as I finished doing so, I felt a hand on my waist, making me jump a little bit. I turned around to see Jack beginning to laugh at me. "You're so annoying.." I rolled my eyes but I couldn't help but laugh as well.

So Jack and I began walking to the cafeteria, his arm wrapped around my shoulders. My hand interlocked with his that was hanging by my shoulder. We planned to go hang out with our friends for the first half of the lunch and then confront Ema later.
