Tuesday...

Things with Jeremy were going great.. better than great. Literally amazing! We were kind of in the honeymoon faze though which was pretty expected.. I couldn't have been happier with him, considering things were going perfectly.

Anyway, I got out of bed and went to my closet to get dressed.

I got dressed in a cropped black t-shirt with some green cargo pants. I put my hair half up half down, brushed my teeth, then went to school with Jack.

End Of Drama...

Near the end of drama, Jeremy came up to Shayna and I.

"Hey guys. So Coltin and I were thinking that it'd be fun for you guys to join us for lunch today. You can bring Jack if you want but I was just assuming he'd be with his new girlfriend." Jeremy asked both of us while smiling. "Oh yeah, that'd be fun Roni!" Shayna said, turning to me while smiling. "Yeah, it would. Sure, let's do it! I'll just text Jack and see if he'll be there." I said also with a smile before stepping aside and pulling out my phone.

Veronica: Hey, you there?

About two minutes later, he answered.

Jack: What's Up?

Veronica: Jeremy just asked Shayna and I if we wanna hang out at lunch. He said you can come too unless you're hanging out with Ema?

Jack: Oh yeah Ema did want to hang out at lunch actually. That worked out pretty well

So after texting Jack, I told Jeremy and Shayna that it would just be us and Coltin.

Lunch...

So the four of us went to the cafeteria and found an empty table. I sat beside Jeremy and we sat across from Shayna and Coltin.

"You know, I'm pretty sure literally everyone knew this was going to happen LONG before it actually did.." Coltin said with a chuckle as he pointed back and forth between Jeremy and I. He was referring to our relationship. I rolled my eyes and we all laughed. "Dude, when I say we didn't like each other in the beginning, we didn't freaking like each other in the beginning." Jeremy said in a firm tone but also while laughing. "Exactly." I agreed, also laughing. "Sure.." Shayna mumbled in disbelief while chuckling.

"What about you two though? Anything going on?" I asked Shayna and Coltin with a big smirk, bouncing my eyebrows. "Don't start!" Shayna said quickly and defensively. "Yeah seriously, don't do that.." Coltin said quickly as well but with a small chuckle. "So quick and defensive.. almost like you two are trying to hide something.." Jeremy spoke up while smirking as well. "We're not!" Both of them said quickly in sync.

Jeremy and I began cracking up and eventually, Shayna and Coltin started laughing as well.

Overall, lunch today was really fun! The four of us really got along as a group actually. Our hilarious conversations just went on and on and I loved it.

That Evening...

It got to the time for me and my family to head over to Jack's house for our weekly get-together dinner.

We got the food we made and left our house and out to Jack's house. We rang the doorbell and Jack's dad answered, greeting all three of us.

The four of us went to their dining room where Jack's mom and Paisley were already at. We weren't able to eat in the backyard like usual anymore since it was now winter and cold out.

After setting out all the food on the table, we all sat down. Our moms sat on one side, with Paisley between them as our dads sat on the ends of the table. I sat on the other side of the table with one empty seat beside me that was reserved for Jack.

But for whatever reason, he wasn't here yet.

"Where's Jack?" I asked both his mom and dad with a smile. "Soon after he came home from school, he left again like half an hour later. He said he was going to hang out with Ema and some friends. But he also said he'd be back in time for the dinner." Mr. Meyer explained.

This was surprising... Jack has NEVER missed a weekly dinner. Nobody in either of our families has. So I just assumed he was running a bit late.

So all of us held off on eating for about ten minutes to wait for Jack, in hopes that he'd show up soon. But sadly, he didn't. So, we had no choice but to continue with the dinner without him.

Throughout the two hours we spent with the dinner, I honestly expected Jack to walk in at anytime, but very much surprising me, he never showed up.

Today was our movie night and I started to wonder if he'd end up showing up to that too. But that thought didn't last long. Jack has only ever missed one movie night and I assumed that if he was going to miss another one, he would tell me in advance. And so far, he hasn't told me that so I assumed that movie night tonight was still going to happen.

Anyway, after the two hours, me and my parents left Jack's house. By now it was around 9 pm. Jack and I's movie night was at 9:30 so I had a while before I had to go to the treehouse.

Right when I got to my room, I changed into my pajamas then laid in bed, watching YouTube for a while. But once it hit 9:30, I left my house and went up to the treehouse.

Once I got there, I went to the pillows on the ground and sat down, putting the blanket over my lap as I waited for Jack. As ten minutes of me waiting passed, I started to get a bit worried. Then another half an hour went by and he still wasn't here.

By then I got up from the ground and went to sit at the window seat/bed. I put the blanket over myself and sat against the wall, continuing to wait.

One And A Half Hours Later...

Jack still hasn't shown up. And sitting here for so long, my eyes were beginning to close. I texted Jack multiple times earlier with no response so I figured it'd be no use calling him either.

But another part of me was a little worried. Like, what if something happened to him? So, I decided to call his mom to see if she knew anything. I got out my phone and rang her.

"Hi, Roni." Mrs. Meyer greeted me as she picked up the phone. "Hi Mrs. Meyer. I was just wondering if you knew anything more about where Jack is? I'm a little worried." I asked her. "Oh, yeah. He texted me about half an hour ago saying that he's still with Ema and their friends. He apologized about the dinner." She explained. I sighed, hearing what she said.

I understood that they were a new couple and I'd be fine with it if he skipped the movie night, but I would most definitely appreciate him telling me that he was going to miss it.

So after talking with Mrs. Meyer, I got up after two hours of waiting, then went back to my house. I went up to my room and laid in bed.

Well that was disappointing...
