3 Days Later...

I woke up slowly to fingers being gently ran through my hair. It was a really nice sensation to wake up to.

I groaned very quietly, my hands going over my face. After rubbing my eyes a little bit, my hands moved off my face. I slowly opened my eyes, looking to my left where Jack was laying right beside me.

I smiled softly, turning my body to him and Jack smiled as well.

"Good morning.." Jack whispered before kissing my forehead. "Good morning.." I whispered back, interlocking my hand with his.

We talked to each other quietly and tiredly for about ten minutes. After that, Jack unfortunately had to leave since he knew he would be late for school if he didn't.

So, Jack got up from bed and I began doing so as well.

"It's ok Roni. You still have time so stay in bed for a bit. You're not dressed anyways." Jack said while smiling, his hand going on my shoulder to stop me from getting up. I smiled as well, laying back in bed.

Jack grabbed his sweats and put them back on before putting on his shirt as well.

After neatening his hair a bit, Jack kneeled down beside the bed, his forearms resting on top of it. I turned my body to him.

"I'll see you in a bit.." He spoke quietly, a cute smile on his face as he ran his fingers slowly through my hair. I nodded, smiling softly as I looked into his gorgeously vibrant blue eyes. He kissed my cheek before standing up.

We said goodbye and he left.

I stayed in bed for another ten minutes before I had to get up as well. Once I did get up, I went to my closet to get dressed.

I put on a turtleneck white sweater with a jean jacket on top with some black jeans. I left my hair down, brushed my teeth, then headed out.

Jack and I met up again and went to school together.

Philosophy...

After changing back into my regular clothes and freshening up after gym class, I headed upstairs to my second period class. I walked into the room and took my regular seat with Alena.

Both of us greeted each other with smiles.

The teacher right away had us all silently work on the assignment we've been working on since last week. But since this was high school, the classroom was obviously not very silent.

As Alena and I did our own assignments, we also did occasionally talk to each other. But not that much, especially knowing how much Alena really cared about her grades. I mean, she was going to be applying to Harvard very soon now..

But a while into the work period, suddenly Jack and I's conversation from the other night came into my mind. I completely forgot that he wanted to talk to Alena one day. It's been three days and we still haven't done that. I was so tired that night, that's probably why I forgot. Honestly, he probably forgot he said that as well.

Regardless, I decided to ask Alena now.

"Hey," I said to Alena while turning to her a little bit in my seat. She looked over at me. "do you wanna hang out with Jack and I during lunch today?" I asked her while smiling. "Since when do Jack and I hang out? We're not even friends." She said back while chuckling. "You don't.. and you aren't.. but why not? He's been wanting to so his opinion of you can change for the better. You know.. since all he really knows of you is what you used to be like.." I said the last part a little bit hesitantly.

"Well that would be nice.. and I have been wanting to be friends with him as well.. But I find him kinda intimidating.." Alena said awkwardly. "Jack?! Intimidating?! How?!" I said, very shocked with what I just heard. "Well he he a really high popularity status, you know.." Alena shrugged. "Alena.. if Jack really cared about his popularity, I can assure you he probably would've been done with an unknown like me a while ago. That phase passed back in grade 10." I tried to assure her.
