The Next Day... 

Since we ended up falling asleep at a place that was an hour away from home, we had to wake up extra early. So, I ended up waking up at 6. It was a cloudy morning so luckily I wasn't too blinded when I began opening my eyes.

Once my eyes adjusted to the light, I turned over to Jack. He was still asleep. He was lying on his back but his head was turned to my direction. His mess brown hair was mostly covering his eyes and his lips were parted the slightest bit. He looked so goddamn adorable and hot at the same time. 

I pushed his hair back so it was away from his eyes before cupping his face with one hand, leaning in and pressing my lips onto his. I was the only one contributing to the kiss for about seven seconds until I felt him finally waking up. He turned his head a bit, making it more comfortable for both of us as I felt his body moving a little bit. 

Soon enough, I felt his smile against me as he began kissing me back slowly and gently. His arms wrapped around my waist and he pulled my upper body on top of him, our lips not breaking connection. 

After we kissed for about half a minute, both of us slowly pulled back and we rested our foreheads against each other. "Good morning baby.." I whispered before pecking his lips, smiling softly. "Good morning beautiful..."Jack whispered back, smiling as well as he tucked a couple strands of my hair behind my ear. 

After we talked for a couple minutes and woke up a bit more, we decided to get up and start heading back home. 

We grabbed all our things then went to put everything in the back of the car. And for the way back home, I decided to drive since Jackson seemed much more tired than me. He actually napped for the first half of the drive. 

Anyway, we got home at around 7:15 am which was perfect. And when we got home, we went to our own houses to get ready for school. 

So I went inside and up to my room. For today, I got dressed in a grey cropped t-shirt with some army printed cargo pants. I put my hair half up half down, brushed my teeth, then went to school with Jack. 

English...(Jackson's P.O.V) 

I sighed as I walked into the room then walked over to Ema's table. Before sitting down, I greeted Dean behind me with a handshake. 

"Hi Jack." Ema greeted me happily as I sat beside her. "Hey." I said back as I reached into my backpack to pull out the assignment sheet and a pencil. "How's your day going?" She asked me. I looked at her. She was smiling. "Fine.." I shrugged a little, clearly showing my confusion. "Yours?" I asked her, still a little confused. "Pretty well, thanks." She said happily before turning away and grabbing a pencil from her backpack. 

That was weird.. She almost seemed normal. 

"So for the assignment, I think we should work on the second part first. It seems the easiest. Do you think that works?" She suggested, looking down at the assignment sheet. "Uh.. Ok.." I said a little awkwardly. 

We worked together on the assignment for the entire period but both of us got pretty stuck on some parts. So by the end of the period, it didn't seem like we were going to get the assignment done on time. 

"Jack, it doesn't look like we're going to finish this in time." Ema said, sounding a little worried. "I know.." I sighed. "Would you maybe want to.. come over after school so we could work on it some more?" She asked me, sounding a little nervous. I sighed, leaning back in my seat.

I didn't really want to but if we didn't meet up, then there was a 90% chance we wouldn't finish the dumb assignment. But there was also the issue that Ema's my ex.. and she wanted me to go to her house.. while I had a girlfriend. That just didn't seem too right. This was a real predicament...
