After I made my way out the door the cold air stung  my skin. I walked around and noticed that there wasn't much if a view here.

"Get out of here!" I immediately turned to follow the voice yelling at me.

I quickly saw a teenage boy standing on the ledge of the roof like he was about to jump.

"Hey what's going on dude?" I cautiously walked towards him.

"I said leave. I need to be alone to do this." He turned back around and stared at the ground. "Leave!" He yelled again causing himself to almost fall over.

"Hey, hey." I put my hands in the air as he wobbled on the edge. "You dont have to do this."

I would have ran to him and pulled him from jumping but I could barely even walk in these heels.

"I'm tired of being pushed around." He yelled. "I cant be anything. They promised I could than pushed me further down."

I could see the tears running down his face thanks to the thousands of lights surrounding the building.

"Then get back up and make them realize you wont stay down." I spoke calmly.

The boy was shaking heavily and seemed to be grasping for any reason to not believe what I was saying.

"That's easy for you to say..."

He was staring off into the group of reporters that slowly began to take notice of the scene above them

"Actually it was really hard for me to even start to get up." I managed to walk up to the edge and face him.

"Why should I believe that? You'd say anything to get me to listen to you." He shouted at me.

"I gain nothing from lying to you." I sighed. "Let's just talk for a bit and if you choose to still do this then I cant stop you."

*POV change to Melodic mood*

There was a large crowd starting to gather around the front of the gala entrance.

It was concerning how paniced everyone was. I was worried that there was an attack going on or something, so I pushed my way through the crowd.

It had begun to rain but no one seemed to notice. So I looked at where various cameras and people were pointing just to see Shining and a random boy standing on the roof.

My heart sank in my chest as the crowd began to grow louded.

None one could actually hear what was being said between the two, but by how the boy was acting he wasn't too happy.

"It is hard to tell from here but it would seem that the quick to fame hero, Shining Dragon, happened to meet a distressed young teen on the roof during the hero gala." I over heard a random reporter talking to their camera.

I couldn't stand to watch from the ground so I pushed my way back inside and ran to the roof access. I didn't waste anytime to look at who might be watching and ran up the stairs.

"Listen I know it's hard to be in this, but that's part of it. If it was meant for everyone we wouldn't be that special." I heard Shining speaking in a calming tone.

I quietly stood outside against the door just incase I had to run over there.

At first I thought she was actually calm, but she was running her hand through her hair more than normal.

I saw Shining had gotten the boy to sit next to her. While they were still on the ledge atleast now they didn't risk accidentally falling with the raining falling down.
