I barely managed to maneuver through the crowd to keep up with Claire trying to find her brother. I almost punched him when he suddenly grabbed my arm to gain out attention.

"What the hell happened?" I shouted over the music.

"I have no idea. It started as a small crowd then this." Ethan waved his hands through the air.

"Where's Owen?" Claire asked.

"I have no idea I've been trying to find him for a few minutes." Ethan began to explain. "He went to the restroom and never came back."

"Great." I muttered.

"Ok let's spit up and meet up at loading dock 3." Claire tried to jump and look over the crowd a bit.

I pushed my way through the crowd and went to the cat walk the was right over where everyone was dancing and hanging out.

"Hate to interrupt." I said loudly to a couple making out infront of the ladder I needed to climb. "Im looking for someone and I need to get up there."

They moved over to the side and I began the climb up the rusted ladder.

The catwalk swayed a little with every step I took. I scanned over the crowd was able to see Ethan entering the restrooms and Claire heading towards the source of the music.

It wasnt easy but eventually I found the scraggly blonde standing near a group of people drinking.

"Great." I mumbled to myself as I headed back towards the ladder.

Thankfully the couple weren't blocking the ladder again and I quickly climbed down. Regretfully I wasnt careful enough and I cut my hand on one of the broken rungs.

I hissed at the pain as I jumped from the ladder. I made my way to where I saw Owen and he excitedly waved at me as soon as he saw me.

"Wanna help me with this?" I asked him as I showed him my hand.

"You climbed that ladder again didnt you?" He groaned as he looked at the blood coming from my hand. "I swear you climbing on stuff is going to kill you one day."

He turned around and grabbed a bottle of alcohol from a random teenager and began to pour it's contents on my hand.

"It's funny I actually wanted to talk to you." He shouted over the music that started to play.

He was actually smiling instead of scowling at me like he normally does when I get hurt. It actually began to make me panic a bit. I knew what was coming and I was by no means ready for it

"Yeah..." I mumbled.

He took a deep breath before he started to shout over the music again, "So I know we've been friends for years and you've always been there when I need you and Visa versa."

'Great he has a speech too.' I mentally cursed myself for coming to the party.

"I don't know if you feel the same way, but it would make me happy if you'd..."

"Owen I'm sorry I have to stop you right there." I aaid while taking a step back.

"Why? We are great together." He looked like I was breaking his heart.

"You say that but..."

"I mean everyone already thinks we are dating." He waved his hands around at the crowd as if they were going to agree with him.

"Owen..."

"Elizabeth cant you see I love you." He said cutting me off again.

"Owen, I'm gay!" Just as I shouted the music cut out and my voice echoed through the building.

There was almost a minute of complete silence until a new song started to play and everyone quickly forgot about what I said. Well everyone except for the confused blonde boy standing infront of me.

"I thought you knew..."

"But what about Baker?" I could barely hear him, but I knew what he asked. "You were crazy about him freshman and sophomore year."

I didn't realize that he thought that I was talking about that football player back then.

"I wasn't talking about Jeremy Baker, it was Hayley Baker the senior." I tried to explain to the now heart broken boy.

Abruptly the music was cut and sirens were barely audible in the distance.

"Scatter!" A few people yelled before chaos began to surround us.

Every second the sirens grew louder and red and blue lights slowly started to appear.
