After getting taken care of on medical I was quickly thrown back into training. And of course they secluded me from everyone else druninh some training and reinstated my lockdown just after it had been removed as punishment for running off.

For the last three weeks they put me on an odd training schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays I was allowed to train with the yellow and orange level recruits. It was mostly just sparing and random team work exercises, butt actually helped me figure out how most of them fight and how much patience they have. Those were also the only days they were allowed to challenge me which it normally was the same people.

Tuesdays and Thursdays I'd train alone for most part until Melodic mood was available to train with me. Which was torture in itself but it was a bit easier to read if she was irritated about something, even though she wouldn't tell me why.

Fridays though were both a blessing and a curse. On one hand it was the day before the weekend where we got freedoms to do whatever we wanted. On the other it was a day they'd push me to my limits and test my abilities.

I thought today was going to be another one of those day until I opened my eyes to find myself in a dark room.

"Today you all will be sparing a mystery opponent." The monotone voice spoke as if it were an announcer. "Your objectives will be to take down your opponent. If your opponent chooses to quit at any moment..." the voice suddenly cut out.

"After you figure out who you opponent is try to figure out their strategies to beat them. There will be a reward to whoever wins." It was easy to identify that the voice belong to the director. "Begin."

For atleast a minute I remained still for any sign of who could be in the room with me.

It couldn't be Claire she wouldnt be able to remain quiet or still this long.

Golem would have started insulting me and raged. Steal would have already raged as well. I don't think they'd put anyone under yellow against me for safety reasons. Especially since I haven't even trained with any of them.

I could easily figure out who I'm fighting if I were to flame up, but then they'd know too.

I was so focused trying to think of the options that I barely heard the sound of someone's foot sliding against the ground just to the left of me.

When I kicked into the direction the person was and they grabbed my leg and landed a solid hit to my inner thigh. They let go of my leg and a cramp spread through my leg as soon as I put pressure on it.

I bit my lip to try and hold back groaning from the pain.

"What do you not like it rough?" My opponent whispered teasingly.

Which if she hadn't said anything I probably wouldnt have guessed it was Melodic mood, but she had to have already figured out who I am.

I dont think she realized how close I was to her after she let go of my leg, because I reflexively swung my arm out and managed to hit her.

I know if the lights were on she would be teasing me for blushing. As if someone knew this a light slowly began to form and I realized I could actually see her. She was slowly reaching her hand out towards me.

'What is she doing?' I questioned myself.

I kicked her in the side right as I noticed my hands looked as if they were covered in embers.

"That's fair." She mumbled after falling to the ground.

"Give up." I ordered as I pinned her to the ground.

"Why dont you make me?" She smirked.

When I tell you my brain flat line I mean I have no idea what she did to cause me to end up getting slammed into the wall because of the surprise from her statement.

For a split second I managed to fully catch fire, but as I inhaled I realized I had atleast cracked my ribs.

"The winner is Melodic mood." The monotone voice rang over us as the room filled with light.

Melodic mood walked over to me and pulled me to my feet.

"Maybe you'll win next time darling." She smirked before taking a step back.

"Merde," I groaned holding my side. "La façon dont vous flirtez me mettra fin."

She seemed to gently bite her lip and squinted her eyes as she tried to figure out what I had said.

"Shining Dragon report to medbay for care to your injuries." A man's voice ordered over the speaker.

"Yes sir." I groaned.

"Need a hand?" Melodic mood offered.

"I think I've got it."

I occasionally leaned against the wall as I maneuvered my way to medbay.

Normally I would have accepted her offer to help, but she just had to remind me of the feelings I've been working on pushing down.

I know it isnt the best option for myself, but I have more to deal with than breaking my heart right now.

"Hey you look a bit rough need a hand?"

I looked up to see the face of who was suddenly talking to me and was met with a friendly looking face. I felt a bit uneasy because I couldn't figure out this person's gender.

"Who are you?"

"Oh my name is Spark!" They exclaimed with an out reached hand.

"I'm..."

"I already know who you are. You're Shining dragon. The news has been rambling about you for weeks." They interrupted me. "I can tell you're confused. Is it about my pronouns?"

"A little bit." I wasn't going to be so direct about it.

"Sorry I take it as a compliment. I'm non binary."

They smiled before a concerned look sprouted on their face.

"Do you need help?"

"No I'm just heading to medical. I should be fine."

They began to walk with me even though I said I could handle it.
