Chapter 36

*POV change to Melodic Mood*

I was forced awake by the sound of my phone ringing.

"This better be important." I grumbled at my phone before I grabbed it. "Why is Spark calling me?"

I sighed before I swiped to answer the call.

"It's 2 am what's..."

"Come at me pretty boy!" I heard Shining dragon yell and I felt panic instantly filled my mind.

Great the one time I dont go with her somewhere she gets into a fight.

"Mood I need you're help Lightspeed and Shining are drunk and Shining is about to get us kicked out if she keeps trying to start a fight with..." Spark sounded frantic. "Shining sit your ass down!" They yelled into the phone.

I winced at them yelling into my ear.

"Do you have a way to come get these two?"

"Where are you at?"

"Its and underground club called The Mask. It's on Blackriver street." Spark sounded like they had were having a hard time containing Shining.

"Ok get them out of the club." I ordered as I quickly got dressed to go retrieve them.

"What do you expect me to do with them?"

"Just get them out of the club. I'll be there soon."

There was more yelling before Spark hung up.

Why do I feel like I'm going to regret this?

I grabbed my keys and sighed as I quietly closed my door.

"Shining you're lucky I'm assigned to make sure you dont get hurt." I mumbled as maneuvered the halls to the elevator.

I went straight to the parking lot. I stopped once I got to my car.

I quicky buckled up and carefully checked all my mirrors.

I began to slowly drive towards Blackriver steet.

It was about as busy as you'd expect for Saturday at 2 am. Some people were just now heading home.

Blackriver street just so happens to be over a mile long itself.

I was pretty much cruising down the steet for any sight of any of them.

I rolled my window so I could hear if by chance I'd catch Shining yelling at someone.

Instead I caught sight of Spark waving me down. I immediately pulled over and got out to meet them.

"Oh thank..." I quickly realized Shining and Lightspeed were no where in sight. "Where are they?"

"I lost them." Spark rubbed the back of their neck.

"How did you lose them?" I asked while pinching the bridge of my nose.

"It all happened so fast." Spark sighed. "Shining punched Hydron, someone took a picture of it, he threatened to fight her, she told him to bring it on, I managed to get shining and Lightspeed out here before a fight could start, he followed us and tried to continue shit, and then I turned around and they were gone."

I have no idea how they managed to say all of that so fast, but they did.

"Did they bring up anything at all?" I asked as I began to panic evenmore.

Not only is Shining missing, but she punched one of the most famous heroes infront of a camera.

"Lightspeed was talking about getting tattoos earlier, but Shining was too upset."
