Chapter 93

*POV change to Melodic mood*

I couldn't help but smile as I glanced over at her and saw the soft red lip print I had left still gracing her cheek.

For a good while the press conference was going well. People were actually asking us questions about the work we plan on doing and what we hope to make changes to.

"So Shining dragon since you have someone's lipstick on your cheek eveyone is wondering. Are you in a new relationship?" A woman asked after having pushed her way to the front.

I quickly looked over at her and she seemed shocked and placed her hands to her cheeks. In the process she smudged the lipstick.

She looked over at me and locked eyes with me as she slowly began to glow. I could tell she was mentally asking about why didn't let her know before hand.

"I... I." She went to answer and began to fumble over her words. "I am."

"How does Lightspeed feel about this since you just recently broke up." The same reporter asked.

"We are still friends and I know she would be happy for me and my girlfriend, just as I am happy for her and her new partner."

She may have managed to collect her words but she was still glowing.

I was slightly disappointed that the mark I left on her was now smudged on her cheek and hand. I was mildly surprised that I managed to keep it a secret from her for so long though.

The reporter all quickly began to gang up on Shining asking for any details about our relationship and she was avoiding answering any question that would give us up. It didnt take long for her to start looking overwhelmed, so I decided I had to check on her.

"As-tu besoin d'une pause?/Do you need a break?" I asked causing the entire room to go silent.

It was as if everyone was unsure if I had actually spoken.

"Oui./Yes." She muttered softly. "Ils sont un peu trop./They are a little too much."

"What language was that?" A few reporters asked, but we both brushed it off as not hearing them.

"Je vais finir ça et te rencontrer dans la voiture./I'm gonna finish this and meet you in the car."

"Melodic Mood what were you both discussing?" A burly looking man shouted from the back of the room.

"I was just checking to see if she still had a meeting at seven."

Everyone in the crowd immediately glanced at their watches as she stood up with a sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry I cant stay to answer more questions, but I have to go." She spoke as if she was worried about disappointing them. "I will have to answer more another time when I'm not busy."

It was amusing watching everyone in the crowd still being confused by not understanding us, but it was also a bit funny how Shining seemed to effect some of the crowd. They actually seemed to be a little bummed out she was leaving so soon, but she looked as if someone too a load off her shoulders.

"Merci mon amour./Thank you my love." She whispered as she walked behind me.

My heart fluttered as her words sank in and I quickly looked away from the cameras.

*POV change to Shining dragon*

I was planning on meeting mood in the car like she had told me but as soon as I left the room Green Voltage had me cornered.
