I couldn't tell you what time Mood got back because I ended up passing out.

The next day my phone was blaring an unusual tune that forced me to get up.

I looked at it and there was a message about a mandatory meeting with the director. And I only had fifteen minutes to get there.

I quickly shot out of bed and threw on my uniform shirt and a pair of jeans. After putting on my mask I bolted out of the room.

Just as I turned to go down the hallway I almsot ran into Mood. She looked confused at the fact I was running.

"Hey what's the rush for?" She asked as she began to causally jog beside me.

"I'm running late."

"For what?"

"A mandatory meeting with the director." I panted as I stopped at the hallway that the director's office was located.

"In fifteen minutes?" She seemed confused. "Not an hour?"

"What no." I pulled out my phone and showed her.

"I'm going with you." She seemed to not trust the message and walked with me down the hall.

She knocked on the door for me and almost immediately two men I had never seen before were standing in the door way. One man looked like he was in his late twenties with flaming red hair and goatee. The other man looked like he was probably in his fifties with mostly gray hair and a receding hairline.

"Ah Melodic mood it was nice of you to guide Shining dragon here today, but you can feel free to leave now." The younger of the two smiled as he tried to usher me into the room.

She slightly slid infront of me to stop him. Honestly it made me a little concerned about whoever these guys are.

"Melodic mood you are dismissed." The older man growled which made me step back closer to Mood.

"With all due respect sir, the last time I left her alone with faculty she was taken to unsanctioned activities and ended up seriously hurt."

They were speaking as if I wasn't there, but to be fair I dont think I had anything I could contribute to the conversation.

"And they were fired for such acts, do you really think he would make the same mistakes?" The older man stepped closer to us, but froze when he looked down at me as if he were examining me.

"Henry it's fine if she feels the need to stay. I need to talk to her next anyway." The younger man gently placed a hand on the older man's shoulder. "As long as she remains silent it wont be an issue."

"I wont speak unless I have to." Mood quickly agreed.

I guess it really didn't matter if I had anything I say about it.

I was shocked by how different the director office now appeared. There were more lights on and the furniture had been rearranged.

"Let me start off my introducting myself." The younger man smiled. "I'm the new director, you can call me Matt." He said while making eye contact with me.

"So you're going to be one of those guys that tries to force people to think of them as a friend instead of an authority figure." It took me a second to realize I said that outloud. "Why did I just say that?"

I looked over at Mood and she seemed just as shocked as I was.

"Because I wanted to know what you thought of me." He smirked. "But that's not why you're here."

He walked away from us and sat behind his new desk. The older man didnt introduce himself instead he silently followed and stood behind the new director.

"We wanted to talk to you about Emory Quale. It would seem that she destroyed a majority of your file before she left."

'That makes no sense.' I thought while looking over at Mood who seemed very interested.

The older man cut in. "You are being placed on a probationary period and will be closely monitored until..."

"Commissioner Fields I know how you feel about this recruit, but you agreed to let me handle this."

I made eye contact with the new director and he gave a soft smile.

"Why would she do that?" I asked softly.

"We dont know. We were hoping you could tell us." He locked eyes with me again.

"I have no idea. It makes no sense as to why she would do that."

I hate this guys power already.

"We need you to refill out the information." The older man growled after growing impatient.

"Mood..." They both looked at me weird for for calling her that. "Melodic Mood didn't you say there is a back up of my files somewhere?"

She confirmed by nodding her head.

"Well that's good to know." Commissioner Fields mumbled as we unintentionally shot him down.

"Melodic Mood I know I said you could stay if you were quiet, but could you take Commissioner Fields to the meeting room? He needs to talk to you in private before the meeting with all the recruits."

"I need to brief you on some new information about your mission."

Mood quickly looked between Commissioner Fields and me before she reluctantly nodded and stood up.

The new director smiled as he watched the both of the leave the room.

"Let me get straight to the point." He abruptly broke the silence. "Your father seems to have convinced people that you arent fit to be a hero. If you cant convince them you are serious about being a hero they will kick you from the program."

He seemed to be looking for a response, but I had no idea what to even think of saying.

"If you can prove that you fully have control over your power and emotions, and prove you can listen to orders..." His eyes looked like they were trying to burn through my skull. "If you can prove this by the end of your probationary period they might decided to keep you in the hero courses. Frankly I agree with your father..."

*POV change to Melodic mood*

The commissioner didn't make a noise as I guided him to the meeting room.

"We are going to remove her PCR before the hero gala, but what I said is true. She is being placed in a probationary period." His voice sounded colder than usual. "I'm sure I dont have to remind you as to why we need Shining dragon on our side."

"No sir, I remember." I spoke firmly.

"Repeat your primary mission to me." He ordered.

"I am to monitor her and make sure she remains calm so she can effectively learn her powers with out her emotions getting in the way." I sighed.

He just nodded his head.

"I need you to get her to reach out to people more. Their are people she needs to convince that she is more than just a weapon." He slid a tablet over to me. "She doesn't even seem to care much about her supposed girlfriend. Mostly just irritated with her."

I feel like he has some sort of alternative motive when it comes to her.

"I'll talk to them about it."

"Be sure that you do." He groaned. "Turn the tablet on."

I did as he said and a picture of four the recruits showed up.

"We narrowed down the list for one of your other missions. While your suspicions were correct about Emory Quale being a mole; we dont think she was working alone. Her records show these four went to her office more often than most recruits combined."

I looked at the tablet again and the four that were on the screen was Spark, Golem, Mimic, and Shining. The first three I had reported under the suspicious list, but I highly doubt Shining could be the other mole.
