Chapter 104

After Mood left for her interview I got dressed in a dark grey turtle neck sweater and a pair of black jeans.

I had to fight to avoid Mozart trying to rub against me otherwise I'd be covered in cat fur for the interview.

"Sorry buddy." I said before checking my phone.

'Your package has arrive.' I read as someone knocked on my door.

I quickly threw on my mask and leather jacket before opening the door.

"Shining dragon?" A man casked as I opened my door

"Right here!" I said a bit louder than I had planned.

"Delivery." He said as he began to guide me out of my apartment building.

"Alright let me show you how this works." The man waved me over to a dark red motorcycle that had bright orange and yellow flames. "Flip this switch and it blacks out the design on the bike and flips the plate."

He pointed at the various details.

"To get the civilian plate you will have to go register it at a BMV as your alter." He explained. "We were not able to upgrade it with auto locate or any special high-tech mechanism, but if you have the keys you can use sound locate."

I don't think he realized that I had requested the minimal technology, since I have been tracked down by villains to many times.

"Anything else I can help you with?" He asked as he handed me the keys.

"Did the helmet come too?"

He quickly ran back to his truck and brought out a box.

"Sorry about that I about left with it." He smiled nefore handing it to me and heading back to his truck.

After he left I mounted the motorcycle and turned the engine on. The engine roared and when I rotated the accelerator.

I knew I was smiling as I turn it off and opened the box my helmet to adjust it and put it on.

While adjusting the motorcycle I felt my phone vibrate and I pulled it out to find Mood calling me.

"Hey Moody, what's up?" I asked as held the helmet under my arm.

"Do you need to be picked up?" She asked kindly. "Your interview is coming up."

"Not this time." I was excited to show her the motorcycle.

"Are you sure?"

I put my helmet on and lifted the face sheild before answering.

"Yeah, don't worry I'll be there in 20." I smirked and turned the engine on before hanging up.

I revved the engine one time before taking off down the road. I was surprised at the crowd that had gathered outside the HRN studio the interview was at.

The crowd grew silent as I pulled into the secure parking, but as soon as I took my helmet off the crowd went wild. I immediately got over whelmed, but I had to play it off and waved at the crowd before heading towards the door.

"You got a motorcycle?" Mood asked like she was upset.

"Yeah. I needed transportation and I've always wanted..."

"Do you know how dangerous those are?" She quietly asked while leading me inside.

"Of course, but it will be easier to get to locations if I'm called in and if I need to avoid getting ambushed if I'm heading some where."

She bit her lip and looked at me then behind me.

"We are talking about this later. Come on the interview set is this way." She spoke softly.
