He ended up taking me to room that was off of the main training area. It made me think of a testing or private training room.
He showed me various different moves to use in a fight, but every time I'd copy what he showed me it wasn't good enough.
"Put your emotions in it. You're not angry enough." The man yelled at me after a while. "You know what..."
He stormed off to the door and stepped into the next room.
"I need someone annoying or stupid!" He yelled.
Everyone was dead silent in the room over.
"That's not very nice." I quickly recognized the voice.
"I dont get paid to be nice kid, so I'm picking you" He growled before he brought Claire into the room.
"Hey good to see you're doing better." I smiled at her.
She didn't look excited to see me like I taught she would.
"I need you to make her angry. Get ready to spar." He ordered before leaning against the wall.
I rolled my eyes.
"Your already getting into fights on your first day." She walked infront of me. "What do you think your father would say?"
She seemed to be taking this seriously.
"You are aware I'm not supposed to flare up right?" I asked him.
"Not my problem."
I looked over and I noticed a lot of people were now standing up against the wall with him.
"Are we really doing this?" I asked Claire as I raised my fist.
"Are you going to back down like you do with your dad?"
I bit my lip to avoid saying anything back to her. She knew she was hitting a soft spot, especially right now.
I looked at my bracelet and it had started beeping. She smirked and walked closer to me.
She opened her mouth to talk again. I didn't even give her chance to let the words out before I grabbed her wrist and threw her to the ground.
I grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and pulled her close to me.
"You can say what ever you want to make me angry, but stop with the family stuff." I muttered so only she could hear me.
"Well get angry then." She muttered before she pushed me back. "After this we need to talk."
I was a bit surprised that she wasn't using her speed to her advantage in the fight.
After a while of various kicks and punches a loud bell chimed.
"Ok that's what I was wanting to see. Thank you Lightspeed. Now everyone get out."
Every one began to file out of the room, but the instructor stopped me.
"Put this on." I looked at his hand and saw a bracelet similar to my own.
"I already have..."
Oddly enough I looked at my wrist and he was holding the one I had been wearing. It must have come off somehow while I was sparing.
I quietly took the bracelet and it clicked as it locked around my wrist.
"I'd say you can control your powers decently. Now go train with the rest of the group." He smiled at me. "Dont take it too hard on your friend. She knew a head of time about doing this."
"Was being a jerk some act or something?" I asked before I made it to the door.
"If you stay on my good side I'll be nice. If you start causing problems it will be worse."
I nodded my head quickly after his voice suddenly dropped with his warning.
He swiped his hand through the air like he was on a phone and the tiles on the ground shifted forcing me to go into the main training room.
There were about nine orange and yellow shirts combined in the room and they all chose to gather around me. A few appeared to be studying me. While the remainder, even Claire, began to bombard me with questions. I looked over and I noticed Melodic Mood in the corner appearing to be amused by my predicament.
Most of the questions happened to be what you would expect like what are your powers and how strong are you, but some of the questions ended up being personal or straight up just weird.
If it weren't for the glaring few I would have almost felt welcomed into the group.
