Chapter 43

*POV still Melodic Mood*
"I forgot here." Blind spot held his hand out to me. "New protocols say we have to give you all an ear piece linked to you teams."

I looked at the ear peices before I handed one to everyone.

"Mind helping me put mine in?" Spark asked without taking their eyes of the road.

"Just push the button to talk. Push it twice to leave it the channel open to talk hands free." Blind spot explained as I helped Spark with their ear piece.

"Are we coming in with you?" Lightspeed asked after Spark parked close to the club.

"Yes, there are a few villains inside and I need to make sure people keep their space from me during this meeting." Blind spot answered while he was getting out of the van.

"Ok so are we doing crowd control measures?" I asked as I climbed out of the van.

Once again Golem began to mock what I said in some annoying high pitched voice.

I was about to say something but before I could Blind spot began to talk again.

"If you wouldn't mind that would be great. Melodic mood place your team around to where no one can hear what is said." He smiled in a direction near where I was standing. "I have a reserved booth for us to chat at and I need to check it for bugs."

"Yes sir."

He quickly ushered us inside and I immediately began to place everyone to where we could keep people a decent distance away.

"Golem I need you to go sit in that booth with..."

"I need you too..." he began to mock me again infront of the group.

I have no idea why he thinks it's ok to act like a child  in this situation, but I was tired of it.

"What the hell's going down?
Too much of the bickering.
Kill it with the sound," I began to sing, "and shut up, just shut up. Shut up."

I fought laughing as Golem tried to fight against my singing.

"Hey kid, uh... Melodic  mood." Blind spot called to me so I stopped singing.

Blind spot pointed over to one of of the guys at the bar. After a second look I  noticed he was recording me.

I glanced back at Blind spot he motioned for me to handle the situation.

I calmly walked over to the man and he began to act jumpy and frantically type on his phone.

Every step I took caused more concern to rise tot he surface of my mind.

'Could my reputation really be destroyed because I couldn't control my irritation? Why does Golem have to act like this tonight?'

"Sir I need yo.."

"Sorry I already sent it out." The man cut me off before nervously rushing out.

I had to force myself to remain calm as I walked back over to Golem who was trying to laugh at me but still couldn't make the sound.

"Go sit in your booth." I ordered with

I finally got Golem to listen and sit down, but I made sure he was far enough that he couldn't hear anything between Blind spot and the person he was meeting. Something more is going on with that boy.

I felt bad for making Lightspeed sit with him, but I know she will talk enough to make it hard from him to listen in.

"Melodic mood, can you sit right there?" He pointed to a bar seat about four feet from where he was sitting.
