The next morning I woke up to a feeling similar to one of a hangover, but I wasnt sitting on the floor I was actually in a bed.

I slowly sat up and Melodic Mood was sitting in a chair at a desk on the other side of the room.

The aching from my lip was very prominent now.

"Here." She stood up and handed me a couple pills and an ice pack.

I looked to the left and saw a partial glass of water. I popped the pills into my mouth and chugged the water.

"You are too accepting sometimes." She stated as she leaned forward a bit.

"What do you mean?" I before pressing the ice pack to my lip.

"I could have attacked you a few different times already." She seemed to be studying me. "Like you told me your allergy, and you just swallowed pills without a second thought."

"Yeah." I lowered the ice pack.

"You shouldn't be so trusting, especially towards someone you dont know."

"Why not? I should be able..." out of no where I was cut off by an alarm clock going off.

"Get dressed. We have to head to breakfast." She stated as I turned it off.

"Yeah. Sure." I mumbled as I walked over to the wardrobe in the room.

I was surprised to see it contained quite a bit of my clothes from my home. One side of it had quite a few copies of my uniform.

"How did my stuff get here?" I turned to face her while holding a pair of ripped jeans.

"I was just given a box and told to put them up. I left more important stuff for you to set up." She gestured over to a few boxes that I somehow didn't see before now.

They seemed like a bit much just for staying the summer here. I was going to do what she had told me and get changed but the boxes had my full attention.

I walked right over to them and opened the top box that said fragile. Every figurine and trophy I ever got were carefully placed in the box.

I had a bad feeling grow in my gut so i ran out of my room towards tyebone exit I was positive of where it led.

Running through the halls  definitely challenged my memory of the maps I studied.

"What are you doing?" I was forced to turn around by Melodic mood grabbing my shoulder.

"I have to go home. Something has happened to my parents." I tried to force her to let me go, but I ended up slammed against the wall.

"You already know you can't do that." She spoke calmly.

"Mood please. I think..."

"Just because you think something happened doesn't mean something did." She let me go and took a step back. "If you actually made it off base and back to them you'd guarantee them having a target on their backs."

I didn't dare move from the wall. I was trying to keep my cool even though I was scared and a bit angry.

"I can tell you mean well, but face it. As long as you're here they are safer than if you were there."

I slowly nodded my head as I realized that she was right. It didn't change the fact I was upset about her stopping me though.

"Come on, if we are lucky we'll make it to breakfast." She groaned before walking away.

I looked at her walking away and then back in the direction to the exit.

"How sure are you I'd put them in danger?" I shouted to her.

She stopped dead in her tracks.

"That villain broke into a base full of heroes just to find you. Do you think she'd be scared of following you home?"

I sighed and looked at the ground.

"I guess you're right."

She started walking again and this time I followed her to breakfast.

"I'm not going to be with you today. I haven't been able to train while I watched you."

"But who's gonna walk me around?"

Suddenly she tossed a phone in the air that I managed to  catch.

"I was going to give it to you in the room but you ran off. It's so you know where you are supposed to go. You can use it to message your friends and family if you want, but be careful." She never turned to face me. "Just show up to the room at the time they say and you will be fine."

"Thanks..." I actually couldn't help but smile.
