*POV is still Melodic mood*

Logos must have worked hard because not only did she managed to narrow down the locations, but she managed to hack one of th HRN drones and scope out the places and found their base. I knew Shining had to be there after I saw the two people who helped Golem out that night.

The only bad thing was they took out the drone before she could fully scope out the place, so I have mo idea how many people were truly in side their current base.

Because of this information I needed help if I really to save Shining, and thankfully I knew who would be more than willing to provide it.

I knocked on Lightspeed's door and her brother answered.

"You're El's friend right?" He immediately asked. "I mean Shining Dragon." He said like he expected me to get confused.

"Yes. I need to talk to your sister."

"She has someone..." He started.

"Ethan who's at the door." Lightspeed said as she showed up at the door and Steel was directly behind her. "Oh Mood, what brings you here?"

"Lightspeed I need your help." I said while looking past her brother.

"What's wrong?" She looked back at Steel. "You can trust him."

Her brother guided me inside and we all sat down in their living room.

"I might know where Shining is, but I need help."

"Why dont you get help from the heroes or goverment? Everyone knows you have a lot of connections." Steel asked as he leaned closer to us.

"Are your parents home?" I asked as I looked around.

"No." Lightspeed and her brother answered at the same time.

"Good." I nodded my head. "My 'connections' dont want me to get involved, but they also aren't prioritizing saving her."

"So we have to do something to help her." Lightspeed quickly stood up and drug Steel to his feet.

"Just like that you're agreeing? You dont even know what you're rushing into." Her brother scolded.

Is this what Shining meant before when she talked about the oldest being the protective sibling?

"Ethan you know she would do the same if it were you or me." Lightspeed put her hands on her hips she spoke. "She's just better at planning as she goes."

"Please be safe." The boy said as he hugged her.

"We will." Lightspeed beamed before dragging Steel and myself out of the house. "So Mood tell us where are we going and what's the plan?"

*POV change to Shining dragon*

I looked at my fingertips and saw they were staring to turn from the bright red to a blueish color again.

"Kid the next time I come in here, if you dont cooperate you will leave me no choice." Frostbite warned as she placed my jacket just out of my reach again.

"No." I growled through shivering teeth.

"Why do you keep making this so difficult?" She asked while kneeling infront of me.

"I'm not going to join a group of villains. I will fight for those who need help."

She sighed and lowered her head.

"Kid, what makes you think we dont fight for them?"

She seemed to be genuine, but there's no way that can be true. How can someone so evil fight for the people?
