*POV change to Shining dragon*

I ran into the alley to find a stay dog and a cat fighting. It didn't seem like the cat could handle a fight against such a bigger component.

"Hey get out of here!" I yelled at the dog before throwing one of my heels at it.

Surprisingly the dog actually scurried away with its tail between its legs. So I carefully began to approach the cat since I could already tell from the distance that the cat badly hurt.

"It's ok, I'm here to help." I spoke softly to the cat.

I probably got about five feet from the cat when it hissed before disappearing into the darkness of the alley.

"Merde.../Shit..." I muttered to myself.

I turned around to see Mood followed me.

"A dog was attacking a cat." I stated before she sighed.

Suddenly there was a tiny mew from inside a discarded box next to Mood.

We both carefully looked into the box and I about cried. I knew if the mom came back there would be no way she could take care of this baby's injuries. There was no sign of the other babies so either this one was the only one in its litter or the rest didn't make it this far.

Immediately Mood was on her phone making a call.

"She was protecting her babies." I carefully picked up the hurt kitten and it immediately began to scream in pain. "I'm sorry baby."

If the box wasnt full of trash I would have kept the kitten inside it.

The poor kitten was soaked from the rain and was bleeding from a few different places from the looks of it.

"I need anything you can give me to help a hurt kitten." Mood said calmly. "Yes, a kitten."

The kitten squirmed I'm my arms as it tried to get comfortable but kept screaming in pains as it moved.

"I dont know how bad its hurt, but its covered in blood." She looked over at me and sighed. "It also keeps screetching." She nodded her head before turning away from me. "Ok where is it at?"

I walked closer to her after the kitten settled a bit and its screaming had changed back to the soft mews. It hurt seeing something this young being this hurt.

Immediately Mood began to guide me in the opposite direction from the school.

"Thank you. I think we can handle this now."

After a couple blocks of speed walking we made it to an veterinary hospital. We both immediately noticed that it was extremely quiet.

"Theres a bell. Can you ring it?" I asked Mood as I tilted my head towards the front counter.

A snarky seeming woman immediately showed up and looked between the two of us a couple times before looking at the cat.

"Oh poor baby." She muttered and took the kitten that began to screama again. "What happened to it?"

"It was attacked by a dog."

"Who's kitten is he?" She looked between the two of us.

"He's a..."

"He's mine." I cut Mood off. "He had gotten out and we when we found him a dog was attacking him."

I knew they wouldn't be in to big of a hurry to help the kitten if they knew he was a stray. Even though I had a feeling Mood wasn't too thrilled about my answer.
