I have never seen Ethan looks so angry before. Around us he acted excited about the heroes and everything, was it just an act?

He quickly disappeared from the screen was the news anchor reappeared.

"As soon as the station is give the clear Johnathan Andrews will be reporting live from the scene."

While the man chatted with the other news anchors I checked on my clothes and noticed that my shirt and pants were pretty dry. The inside of the leather jacket was still damp along with the hoodie I had.

I was mostly dressed and in the process of putting my shirt back on when Melodic  mood exited the bathroom in her robe.

I quickly turned away from her out of reflex. It's not that I have issues with girls seeing me get dressed. I normally dont care, but this is different from changing during gym class or with Claire in the room.

"I take it your clothes are dry?" She asked immediately.

"My hoodie and jacket still have a bit of drying left to do."

She causally began to hang her clothes over the heater while I went back over to the tv. When I noticed a bottle of champagne sitting on the nightstand.

"Hey I have to apologize it would seem that the desk clerk mixed up their codes."

I looked over at her and I'm sure if she hadn't been looking at her phone she would have seen the confused look I was giving her.

"And apparently a lot of heroes have been using this place for code rose lately."  She seemed to be reading something off of her phone. "I'm working on getting it cleared up, but we probably are going to get questioned when we get back."

I was still very confused, but I wasn't sure if I should question it.

"The director was questioning me about why a code rose was set up in your name and if that's why you disobeyed your lockdown." She said with a long sigh as if that was why I was confused.

Someone could have punched me in the gut faster than it took for my brain to register what they assumed.

"Oh..." I mumbled as I quickly turned back to the news.

"Oh. you didnt think..." She suddenly looked very concerned.

"Oh no. No. No." I quickly put my hands up in a defensive manner. "I would never... I mean you're pretty... but you'd have to take me on a few dates first." I should have put my foot in my mouth before this point.

I quickly stood up while I was talking which was a bad idea, because I quickly got light headed.

"I was confused about what a code rose was." I admitted while grabbing a hold of the near by dresser. "I am shooting in the dark here. These people keep throwing new things at me and you're the only person that actually takes the time to explain anything. I didn't even know heroes could hide out at a place like this let alone that there is a code system."

She seemed to just be letting me ramble while she slowly stood up and grabbed the medkit.

"Sometimes I forget that they just threw you into all of this because of the this woman that's after you." She rummaged through the medkit while she spoke. "Why dont we fix up your bandage then I can go over some stuff that you missed?"

She gestured for me to sit down before redressing the area.

After she had finished I began to ask her various questions about the hero courses and stuff I probably wouldn't learn. Until I accidentally started to doze off and she shined a small pen light in my eyes.

"Why dont you yet some sleep? I'll keep and eye on everything. " She stated after she checked my eyes. "You're eyes are dilating now so it should be fine."

"But I have more questions." I mumbled over a yawn.

"Dont worry I'll still be able to answer questions later on." She gave me a reassuring smile before she forced me to go to bed.

I couldnt tell you how long I had slept for, but I felt like I had been hit by a train when I did. My luck would have it after I woke up we had to walk back to base after collecting my jacket and hoodie.

After we got back I was scolded for running off after about an hour of them questioning every little detail of the previous night.

"Head to medical according to Melodic mood you need your head checked out."
