*change pov to Shining Dragon*
"Absolutely not." Mood firmly stated.
"There are only two options, I go with both of you or you don't go."
"Mood..." I spoke softly trying ease the tension bulding dramatically in the room.
She gently turned to me while keeping Frostbite in her sights.
"You cant tell me you actually trust her." Mood's expression looked like she was trying to remain threatening, but I could see the concern in her eyes.
I glanced over at Frostbite who seemed to be wanting to know what I was going to say.
I turned by back to Frostbite and whispered, "Of course not, but the files we found proves my mother is alive and they lost her. If she is telling the truth I can meet her, and if not we can take her in."
Mood glanced from me to her and sighed.
"Fine, but you have to be restrained." Mood crossed her arms in an irritated manner.
I know it wasn't ideal for her, but if she is telling the truth, this may be my only chance to see my mother.
"Not a chance." Frostbite said backing up.
Something seemed off about her protest, like she knew something we didn't.
"Fine I'm not going." I walked to the kitchen, "I suggest you leave before we have to reck my apartment."
"Look the bastard that wiped her memory fucked up. He caused permanent damage to her brain an she I forgetting everything, and soon it will kill her." Frostbite sighed. "The last thing she asked me for in English was to see her baby. I dont know how she remembers that now, but she does."
She turned her back on Mood and took a step towards me.
"I cant speak to her anymore, I can barely understand her and she doesn't seem to remember me."
I froze for a moment and looked between her and Mood. I don't know what she was thinking but she seemed a but concerned for me.
"I understand, but the only way we are going is if you follow our terms. I have been attacked by you and your crew too many times to just trust you." I stayed firm on the decision.
Mood had a soft smile on her face as if she was proud but quickly dropped it when Frostbite turned to face her.
"If what you are saying is true and not a trap then you shouldn't have an issue agreeing to our terms." I leaned forward on the counter trying to make myself seem calmer and more confident about this decision than I was. "Last chance."
She quickly looked between us and sighed, "Fine."
"Follow me." Mood ordered.
We both followed her down to her car and she grabbed a pair of power restraining handcuffs out of her car.
Frostbite hesitated but held her hands out for Mood to cuff her. Then Mood opened the door for her to get into the car.
We had been following this woman's directions for about an hour and she refused to answer a single question we asked her.
"Park here." She suddenly said after a mile of driving.
As soon as Mood listened Frostbite spoke up again.
"Go inside and ask for Celeste Thomas." Frostbite said as we looked at the building.
Slowly we got out of the car and Mood began to open the door for Frostbite.
