Chapter 59

After accidently skipping our training lesson we had to go meet up with Reaper for our field training. For some reason he was very vague about our mission all we knew is we were on a stake out looking for proof of a villain. Which villain we didnt know. We also didnt know why he suddenly disappeared for over three hours as soon as we got here.

We were all sitting of the ledge staring at the apartment bulding across the street. Honestly I'm sure all of us were bored.

Claire being her usual self was having a hard time sitting still. Even though a majority of the time she was leaning against me since it was a bit chilly out. Somehow she also convinced Steel to do the same. Except Mood seemed to be keeping her distance.

"Lightspeed." I called out to her after she fan to the other side of the roof and quickly perked up. "Kiss marry kill, Green Voltage, Steel or Starlight?"

"Ooh hard one."

She sped over to me and this caught the attention of Steel and Mood.

"For sure kiss Starlight. Marry Green Voltage, and I guess I'll have to kill Steel."

"What?" Steel exclaimed as he moved over to us. "Why would you kill me?"

"I mean have you seen Green Voltage's face. It was crafted in the heavens." Claire waved her hand at the sky.

I glanced at Mood who was looking at us like she was amused by our childish game.

"Ok, so Shining Dragon, my dear friend." Claire stated with a pose for dramatic effect. "Kiss marry kill. Frostbite, Melodic Mood, and Steel."

Claire smirked as if she were proud of herself.

I glanced over at Mood again and she had turned away from us to face the buidling.

Steel acted heart broken and exclaimed, "Why do you want me dead?"

"Who said she would kill you?" Claire asked holding back from laughing.

"No No, he has a point." I pointed at him as I spoke. "I'd rather kiss Frostbite than him."

Steel acted like he had been wounded as Claire snickered at his reaction.

"So you'd marry Melodic Mood..." Claire's head perked up as if she just solved a puzzle. "Hey did you hear that. Shining dragon choose to marry you." She said as she sped over to her.

"Oh, did she now?" Mood asked like she wasn't listening to us, but I could see a small smile creeping at the corner of her lips. "You should probably ask me first."

I could feel my cheeks starting to heat up.

"Steel, I change my mind we are gonna have a loveless marriage." I turned to the boy who was still acting wounded.

"No take backs." Claire exclaimed. "I better be invited to this wedding..."

I slapped my hand over Claire's mouth to stop her from saying anything else embarrassing.

"There's no need to stop her you're already glowling." Mood said as she turned to face us once more.

Claire and Steel seemed to be amazed by the fact I was glowing.

"Since when do you glow?" Claire asked as she reached her hand out to touch my arm.

"She had the same reaction when she saw me glow the first time." I pulled my arm away before she could actually touch it.

"Whats wrong? Will it burn?" Claire asked with a slight pout.

Honestly I didnt know if it would burn anyone, bit I didn't want to risk it.
