Hedgehog Day

Eggman yawned as his alarm went off, and he turned it off. Orbot and Cubot rolled in with breakfast.

"Wakey-wakey; eggs and bakey!" Orbot grinned, handing the doctor his breakfast. Eggman scowled at him. "Don't ever say that again."

Orbot placed the food tray on the doctor's lap and continued. " Today's the day we're finally going to defeat Sonic with your new weapon, so I thought I'd make you a special breakfast!"

"You thought?!" Eggman snapped. " You don't think; you're artificial intelligence, and even that's only half right."

He glanced at the empty glass and frowned. "No fresh-squeezed orange juice?"

Orbot held an orange juice up and sucked its contents through his robotic teeth, and the juice came out of his finger into Eggman's cup.

Eggman grimaced. " Suddenly, I'm not so thirsty. Is my Egg Tank ready?"

Cubot held up a tank top with Eggman's logo on it, and Eggman frowned. " My other Egg Tank?"

Pretty soon, Eggman was all set in his egg tank. The genius peered through the ship's spy goggles to witness the current events... Amy setting up the movie camera, Knuckles and Sticks setting up the projection screen. He pressed a few buttons again, and the camera moved to Tails, Penny, and Sonic. Penny was munching on some candy, and unfortunately some of the pieces went down the wrong side of the throat, and Sonic quickly patted her back, forcing the piece of candy out. She took a few coughs before giving Sonic a thankful smile. Sonic smiled back, and after a reassuring lecture from Tails, the three went into the movie shop to grab a movie from the counter.

"Movie day, eh? Spoiler alert; I win, you lose!" Eggman snickered. He pressed a few buttons on his control panel and gave his orders. "Play my battle music."

Instead of the hip-hop battle music Eggman wanted, a Hawaiian type music played in the background. Eggman sighed. "Close enough." He shook it off and drove to the beach.

"Man, I've been waiting to see this one!" Penny giddily said as she sat down on a fold up chair next to Sonic.

"And we get to enjoy it with you." The hedgehog said, poking Penny playfully on the nose.

"Stop that!" Penny laughed, batting his hand playfully away.

"Shh!" Amy hissed. "The movie's starting!"

"Oh, right." Penny said, quickly turning to the movie. The last thing she wanted was to get on Amy's bad side.

The movie went on for a while, and the next scene that happened was Comedy Chip parachuting off an airplane.

"I guess that wasn't the men's room door." Comedy Chimp said. He burst into laughter, and the rest of the gang laughed.

Knuckles frowned. "I don't get it."

Sonic turned to Tails. "Nice job on the projector."

"Thanks!" Tails said with a grin. "I had to re-orient the screws..."

Amy glared at them, silencing them. "Shhh! No talking!"

Knuckles and Penny drank their slushies. Amy glared at them. "Shhh! No slurping!"

"Aww...." Penny whined.

"SHH! No whining!" Amy snapped, causing Penny to wince. "Shh! And no wincing!"

The sound of thunder rolled behind them, and the sound of robots clanking alerted the gang. Amy turned to the bots with a hiss. "Shh! NO ATTACKING!"

The bots crawled up to the gang, and Sonic instantly got in front of Penny protectively, smashing away the bots. She yelped as a robot claw grabbed her, but thankfully Sticks' boomerang saved her. Sonic quickly zoomed her to Tails and turned back to the battle and instantly wished he didn't- a crab bot was already making its way towards them, and the human girl clutched her bo staff, shaking and hiding behind Tails.
