Things are pretty weird, to say the least.

After I left Steve's house with my dad, we went to the hospital and spent the day with my grandmother, who was overjoyed at the confirmation that Steve and I were getting married, and quickly. I spent that night with her and the next afternoon I went to my parents' house and my mother was in the same delirium at the news.

"The goddess is being so generous to unite you with such a wonderful man!"

The goddess must be as pissed off as I am that Steve is a hoax, that's right!

Instead of telling my mom the truth about that “marriage,” I just smiled and asked her not to get too carried away.

“Mom, we're just fulfilling Grandma's wish.

- Like this?

“You know Steve and I have only known each other for a short time, we're moving the wedding forward because Grandma will be happy.

'We're all happy!' And even happier because we're having a wedding this weekend!

"Are you sure you're not freaking out?" A wedding like this, so fast?

“It's going to be crazy to organize a ceremony in such a short time, but we're going to make it.

— Wait… Ceremony?

“Of course, honey, every wedding has a ceremony!

"What do you mean by ceremony?"

- We are already arranging everything, my love! Will be all right!
Steve caught up with us today and explained what it's going to be like.

"Steve spoke to you?" "What the hell is Steve up to?"

- Of course yes! Now go call your father to eat!

I meet my father in the barn. He's setting up a kind of hay backdrop and positioning the camera.

“Dad, what are you doing?

— Preparing everything for the session…

- Photoshoot?

“Yeah, we won't have much time, with the wedding preparations and all.

— Who are you going to photograph?

“Your fiance, of course.

— Steve?

- Do you have another fiancé?

“Wait… is Steve going to pose for you… naked?

— Artistic nude, daughter, how many times do I have to explain?

'When did he agree?'

“We had lunch together today.

"How come I'm only knowing this now?"

“I was keeping your grandmother company and that's the way it should be.
By the way, I talked to the doctor and she can attend the wedding.

"I still don't understand anything...

- Do not worry! It'll be all right, you'll see! He opens a magazine and shows a picture of a burly blond guy on all fours in the hay.

"Do you think a photo like this would be good?"

— Mercy, Father! Only if it's for a gay magazine!

"Do you think I can sell to one of those magazines?"

'The naked Steve?' Did you freak out?

“Yeah, I think I overdid it. Let's see what your mother will try to poison us with today. He pulls me into the kitchen.
