Standing at a dark place, she looked around trying to figure out where she was.
Her spine shivered and her lips trembled for a second as cold winds passed through her. It was an unknown place that she had never been before.
"Celeste," a seemingly godlike voice spoke to her from the darkness.
The voice bellowed out in large waves that could possibly shake anyone in the world. Yet for her, it was calm and comforting.
The voice that spoke was calling unto her with gentleness and comfort.
She turned her head all around to see if anyone was there yet she found none. She could not identify any entity other than her in the darkness.
"Celeste," the voice called once more and this time, she decided to stay put.
What was she doing in this place? She could not figure out any of it.
"Celeste..." she mumbled underneath her breath.
"That's me..." Looking up, Celeste observed the unending darkness surrounding her.
'Ah,' she smiled in thought when she remembered a certain scenario that occurred before.
'It's just like this,' Celeste gleamed and started to ease herself up. She finally realized where she was.
The Sovereign of Frost had seen this before. Right when her life started, her soul had seen the similar scenario of this darkness that enveloped her entirety.
"Celeste..." but this time, the voice turned sad and Celeste's face turned somber.
Her memories started returning one by one as seconds passed by.
"Can you show me yourself?" She inquired and not a second even passed, beautiful ice magic manifested in the surroundings.
The surroundings visibly became colder as the ground she stood on was covered with ice. As seconds continued to walk by her, Celeste's surroundings became more recognizable with the magic's doings.
Snow started to fall from the gloomy skies and it covered everything it touches.
The cold zephyrs passed by her and her hair swayed along the breeze. She finally understood why she was in this place.
Her footstep could be heard as Celeste stood outside the entrance of an enormous cave that now appeared.
A cave made out of ice.
An entire world manifested before her. This was the power of the Frost.
The Frost of Winter.
"The Frost of Winter," she called and the something from inside the cave grumbled. A restless presence could be felt and Celeste knew she needed to go inside and see what it was.
She then took steps forward. Her heart beating quite loudly yet she also felt the calmness of the surroundings.
Frost has always been her home. The moment she was born, she was chosen to be the next sovereign and she held great power.
Celeste spent her entire life watching over the world as the strongest ice magic user. But now, she found another purpose in life.
Step
She looked up as she finally was inside the cold cave.
Step
Celeste knew her duties were heavy and not even the rulers of human territories would be able to do it themselves.
