A/N: Honestly, I was listening to "King" by Lauren Aquilina while writing this chapter. I recommend you do the same so we get the same feels! :>
----
"You're the King of Hell?" Perez asked as the entire population of District Twelve was floating in the air with him.The world was in utter chaos. There are probably millions of Apparitions of Death raining down around the world while monsters that humans could never dream of becoming reality were now rampaging and destroying the said apparitions all over the globe.
The young man looked down and saw that an enormous slithering shadow hidden under the blood ocean was shredding the apparitions in the entire district one by one like they were pieces of paper.
And the master of that powerful shadow was the man in front of them. He looked back at the person and saw that Silas was smiling at them.
"Everyone, can I ask for a favor?" The young king asked them and they all straightened their postures and stood tall.
In front of them was the person who was making the impossible possible. It was the man who appeared out of nowhere and was now saving the entire world from a global catastrophe.
Not just their district.
But the world.
"It's a big favor to be honest but I guarantee no lives will be lost," he added and even without any hesitations, everyone nodded their heads as if they were listening to the one person that could save them from these sick games.
"Yay!" He cheered when he saw everyone's agreement to the request he hadn't given yet. There were a lot of people ranging from kids to old ones, however, he knew they could be helpful in this challenge they are facing.
"So, what I want everyone to do is fight." The moment he said that their eyes widened and they looked at each other, wondering if they heard it right. They hesitatingly looked back to the white-haired stranger.
Fight?
How could they even do that?
It took them one stranger who suddenly appeared out of nowhere to even make progress this far. How can they fight in this situation?
"Don't worry, I will be helping you fight my shadows," he added and tilted his head to the side resembling that of a curious cat.
"I will give all of you the barrier made out of wind. Half will receive a copy of my Frost Sword while another half will receive a temporary copy of the Flame Sword. They are as effective as the original and will aid you greatly in battle. I will also send everyone in groups into different parts of the world to defeat the remaining apparitions." His hair was flowing with the wind and behind his head was the glowing moon that gave his entire frame a glowing appearance.
He looked like a god who came down to Earth to save them from their demise.
"Even if you cannot move, I will make it that my winds will follow your wishes. Even if you are wounded, my light will become the refuge of your fate." He turned his back on them and everyone gulped in anticipation as he raised both of his arms.
"I guarantee you until we finish the challenges..." He closed his eyes as he allowed himself to feel the solemnity trying to escape from the disastrous occurrence just right below.
"Not a single life will be taken. I will carry you all to the end of these challenges."
Shivers ran down everyone's spine. Even Perez couldn't take his eyes off of Silas' back.
This is the person who will carry them to the end. He is their savior.
"W-We will follow you, Sir Silas!" The first ones to claim their acceptance of the young king's favor were the twins. And the moment they spoke that, one got the sword of flames while the other got the sword of frost.
