"Aeris, how long before you reach Pier's position?" Celine asked as she sat on a branch lazing around. Her blindfolded eyes were working their magic as she looked through multiple visions at the same time.

A light orb passed by her and she smiled when she knew she was being watched by it. She waved her fingers seductively and she knew her fans were roaring as they see her through the big screen.

Celine Celestara, the arcane mage.

The Celestara family is one of the few Countdom Families that operates in the central area of the empire. They specialize in researching and forming new magic, most especially artificial magic. Years of tests and research in the Celestara family had led to a new breed of magicians in the entire empire which are the Arcane Mages.

Little is still known about their power as the family is one of the most secretive in the entire country. However, the general public does know a few things about arcane magic. It involves the connection between multiple targets and allows them to share a common trait one at a time.

"I am almost there. I think Amelia is the one who reached Pier's location first," Aeris responded as he ran through the Nightmare Hollow and almost became one with the wind. Celeste nodded her head as she threw a kiss at the light orb before hopping off the branch and moving.

In a split second, she was gone from the public's eyes. She was running through the forest like the wind too, similar to Aeris.

That is one of her magic abilities as an arcane mage. By connecting with a certain person, she can gain a portion of their abilities and use it for herself.

Once she reached a more secretive spot and killed off a few monsters along the way using Aeris' other spells, she hopped on a branch once more and focused until a new view came into her mind.

This time, the wind magic disappeared around her body and aura and was instead replaced with a tougher and stronger presence.

"Obek, how long before you reach the intended spot?" She asked while taking a view of Obek's vision and his surroundings. The tiny teenager had grown multiple times and was now bigger than most trees in the forest.

Obek was an orphan from the outskirts taken to the capital upon news of his unique magic. Giant Magic is a form of magic that only exists in Belmaid too, similar to Celine's Arcane Magic. It grants the possessor an ability to grow multiple times their original size and gain immense strength that could destroy mountains.

The origin of Obek's magic isn't known but it was believed he ate the food of giants when he was hungry as a child in the orphanage.

Monsters were getting crushed under his feet as he ran through the forest with his giant steps.

"Soon," he responded in such a deep and big voice that even Celine stiffened because of how scary it sounded. Seeing that Obek was close to reaching the spot too, she cut off her ties with him and the presence of giants disappeared from her body. When she did that, monsters instantly gathered around her once more.

Indeed, Nightmare Hollow is infested with millions, if not, thousands upon thousands of monsters. The giant's presence that she obtained from Obek when connecting with him was the reason the monsters didn't approach her. Obek's presence is enough to threaten almost every monster in Cresencia's forests.

She glared at them and raised her hand. In an instant, a ball of flame appeared on her fingers which she then threw beneath her feet.

The ball of flame erupted into a wall of fire that surrounded her and the tree she was lounging on and the bright flames it emitted scared off the low and mid-ranked monsters.
