"These are the sleeping quarters!" Edric said excitedly as he led the two nobles through the base camp. The young soldier had been given the privilege of showing the newly-arrived heroes around the place so they could get accustomed to it during their stay.

Lysander peeked into the quarters, and his eyes visibly softened when he saw how poor the living conditions were. It wasn't bad for a regular person, but for someone who had lived in a mansion, the quality was significantly downgraded. Of course, Lysander himself didn't know that and just assumed it based on his perspective.

Silas, however, had bright eyes as he was amazed. He used to go on camps with his younger brother in his past life, and this setup was familiar, especially when they went with groups.

"And so far, this is the last section of the main building!" Edric said cheerfully, which Silas found pleasing. He nodded his head and clapped like a little child taken on an amazing tour of his favorite place.

"Thank you for taking us around, Sir Edric!" Silas said, matching the young knight's glee. Edric returned the sentiment with a boyish smile.

"Haha... I'm grateful the young master liked my introductions. I practiced the whole night for it!" Lysander sweatdropped at the two. Instead, he turned to look out the window where more buildings were located at further distances from where they stood.

"Are those the other bases?" Lysander asked. Edric turned his head in the direction the young duke was looking. Shaking his head, he answered, "Those are still part of the main base here, sir. Those stations are for designated knights on patrol for border control. The other base camps are hours away from here."

With a little 'o' shape in his mouth, Silas was amused. It was his first time at an empire's base camp, and it sure did not disappoint. He wanted to go there. 'Maybe tomorrow,' he thought, because it was already afternoon and the sun would set in a few hours. Instead, Silas was craving something else.

Clang! Clang! Clang! Their attention was taken by the sound of bells clanging in the distance. Edric's eyes sparkled when he realized what it was.

"It's tea time!" Edric yelled, surprising the two men.

"Tea time?" Silas muttered, and the young knight eagerly nodded his head.

"Yes. When the clock strikes at three, the other knights usually brew the tea leaves they find in the wild and share it with others." Silas gulped because it was exactly what he wanted. He was craving tea. It was weird for a second, but lately, he had been craving things like tea.

"Please join us for our afternoon tea. The other knights would love it!" Edric pleaded, but it was already decided when the word 'tea' was mentioned. Silas turned to Perez looking like a puppy. "Let's go," he spoke, and the young duke could only nod his head. What could he do anyway? It's not like he could tell Silas not to join them because there was no way he would do that. Besides, he wanted to explore the camp more as well to assess the situation of the border patrol team and prepare for the war that would happen in less than a month.

The two were immediately guided by Knight Edric to the nearest building, which was only a few minutes' walk away. When they reached the second building, Perez saw the other buildings that were much farther from where they had been earlier. The second building had obstructed the view from the first building, so he hadn't known there were many more posts out there, especially the ones deep in the forest. Flags of Belmaid were raised at the very top of each building, signifying their location.

"Wow, there are more buildings in the forest," Silas pointed out as they paused for a second. The clamoring knights in the distance all paused when they saw the nobles.
