"Wait here Bunny." Jungkook was so mad he couldn't contain it, where did Namjoon get the audacity?

"Kookie, no, let's just go." She grabbed his arm and he took a deep breath to not shake her off. He'd never hurt her, not even in a moment like this where he felt entirely out of control.

Gently he moved her clutching hands from the material of his sleeve and backed her up a few steps. She looked close to tears but he was too angry to interpret if that was from his leader or the sudden dramatic exit or even just the combination of both.

"Please, give me two minutes." He pressed her to the wall and after a second she stayed put, her face a mask of misery.

"Don't hit him Koo." The first tears escaped her lashes and instead of softening his demeanor, he really did want to pummel Namjoon.

"I won't." Jungkook kissed her cheek, just the tiny brush against her skin centering him slightly.

Jungkook punched in the code and let himself back into the apartment, shutting the door quickly to prevent Y/N from following. He could hear the loud argument between Namjoon and Sujin from the hallway, but he couldn't make out the words, his fury making his ears ring with rushing blood.

"If you want me to leave BTS say it. Be a man and say it outright. I'm tired of you throwing it in my face. Because tomorrow I'm going to resign and I need to know if the statement should say it was my decision or yours." He reached them and Namjoon spun at his words from where Sujin was yelling at him.

"Group decision, don't be a fucking baby about it. 'In the best interests of the group', lie about why or don't." The way Namjoon said it felt like he was tearing his heart out through his chest, but he wouldn't dare show it. He'd never give Namjoon the satisfaction of knowing he was literally breaking his heart.

"I'm getting my own lawyer. You and Hybe aren't going to steal everything I've accomplished in the last ten years." Jungkook had to speak slowly to maintain his devil may care attitude because he really felt the contents of his stomach tilting like he might throw up.

"Both of you stop, this got out of hand. Admit it Joon, please, don't you dare force him out." Sujin was sobbing and Jungkook didn't understand, wasn't this what she wanted? Namjoon to be free from BTS and with her all of the time?

"There's only one thing left to say." Jungkook straightened, pulling himself up to his full height from where his rage had curled his body inward in a protective stance.

"What's that?"

Namjoon still had the brazenness to act as if he was superior and Jungkook behaving like a child. Jimin was wrong, this wasn't about him growing up, this was about Namjoon outgrowing their group. He should be the one leaving, but it was too late to take it back now.

"I regret every single decision I made that brought the two of us together. You were never a brother to me, I hate you. I hope your child doesn't turn out anything like you." Jungkook could see his words were finally hitting home with his hyung, where before everything had seemed like a tantrum out of control, Namjoon's eyes widened slightly.

"Throwing everything away for a good lay? Typical Jungkookie."

"Well, you did it first, and I just followed in your footsteps." Jungkook had to leave before he hit Namjoon, a wall, or worse, was brought to tears with the mayhem that had crashed around him.
