Lounging on the couch with his new favourite book in his hand, Wooyoung dove his fingers through Nabi's fine hair for the millionth time—a girl who was lounging on his chest, sharing the moment with him.
'And the little otter said, 'boo!'' he read from the page...
And Nabi squealed in hysterics, just as she did every time he read it to her.
'Are you two right over there?'
Smirking, as he heard his brother's amused voice float over from behind him, Nabi rolled over on his chest onto her tummy to look up at the strawberry blonde.
'We are perfect, aren't we Princess?' he breathed, kissing her on the forehead and having his heart melt in his chest as she copied him, wriggle-crawling her way up his chest and kissing him right back on his lips. She looked ever-so chuffed with herself seeing his smile, her butterfly mismatched eyes brimming with the purest form of happiness as they gazed down at him, and he was fairly sure she made him the happiest person on the face of the planet.
Especially when his brother knelt down beside them and leaned against the edge of the couch and his body, peppering the smiling, giggling little girl in kisses. 'Your daddies are coming home~' he cooed, smoothing his hand down her fluffy little bear jumpsuit—the one they had bought for her. 'Dada?~'
Closing the book and letting it slip down the side of the couch, he smirked as Nabi made an attempt at cooing back at him, but not quite making the word Seonghwa was always so determined to be the one to hear first.
When him or Joong were away, Yeosang and him liked to secretly try and see if they could hear it first. They'd wanted to hear uncle, but that was doomed from the get go, and so dada it was, and diligently, for months, they'd also tried to hear it first...
They'd come close!... Closer probably than Seonghwa had, which was somehow both funny and cruel at once.
But it still didn't seem to be the day.
And so kissing her on the head, he gazed down at her and her darting eyes, inundated with so much love, she didn't know where to look.
'When are they coming home?' he asked his brother, keen to see them both while Nabi was in such a beautiful mood. He wanted them to see too...
