Wooyoung felt so much more at ease when he made his way back home—arm threaded through San's as they followed his brother with Nabi up the stairs, in through their door. His mania had resided, as had the depressive lull that followed, and after a morning far more gentle than the previous ones, when San had arrived, he had said goodbye to his parents, and they had headed home.

Stepping through the door, it was nice to be back. Maybe it was the familiarity, but mostly, he thought it was Hongjoong, and seeing him paused in the kitchen, eyes turning soft...

'Hyung,' he breathed, running up to him and throwing himself at him. He smelled freshly of soap and his aftershave and everything that was him, and he moaned a sound of content as Hongjoong's arms wrapped around behind his waist.

'Good morning to you,' his Hyung laughed in a surprised kind of voice that had him remembering that he didn't know what kind of days he'd just been through...

He hugged him tightly, deciding there and then not to tell him, and instead try his best to be as bright and happy as he could.

'How was your extended date night?' he asked, squeezing him tightly one more, before leaning back and surveying his face. It shone so bright and clearly that the happiness on it seemed to resonate from the deepest part of his soul. 'Please tell me you had the best fuck of your life and spent the days passed out sex drunk.'

Hongjoong let out a sharp, mortified laugh in shock, crimson dusky lips pulled in the most magnificent of smiles and eyes glittering brighter than the blush on his cheeks. 'Ya,' he complained.

But he didn't need an answer, because it was so obvious how refreshed he was. He was practically glowing. 'I need to give Seonghwa a gold star and a bottle of wine,' he sighed happily, patting his Hyung on the cheek in satisfaction.

It made Hongjoong jerk back away in embarrassed laughter. 'Ya, you better not,' he warned.

'Oh I absolutely will~' he chimed back, giving him a wink. However his heart freaking melted the moment he saw Hongjoong spot his daughter in Yeosang's arms—his entire expression erupting like a thousand different fireworks of emotions, all for his baby girl.

'Nabi,' Hongjoong whispered, and with it, his feet drew him straight across the living room and up to Yeosang, where the blonde deposited the squealing little girl into her father's wanting arms.

'Oh my baby girl,' Hongjoong breathed, peppering her smiling, excited face with kisses. 'Daddy missed you so much, yes I did,' he said, positively glowing.

Watching from afar, he startled softly as he felt a sudden hand slip around his waist and in behind him, San, and he leaned into his warm chest.

'He looks so happy,' he whispered, biting into his lip as he watched his Hyung spin his daughter around and play with her, nothing but sheer smiles and love radiating from the both of them.
