Wooyoung hadn't had the best day. He'd known he wouldn't too.

After a night filled with night terrors, waking up his entire family with screams into the night, a morning filled with anxious fidgets, and then an afternoon filled with hyperactivity he hadn't missed at all, he was exhausted, tired, and wanted nothing more than for everything to calm down, turn still, and for him to have a peaceful, restful sleep...

That was what he wanted, anyway.

Reality wasn't quite along the lines he'd hoped for.

Sitting in his parents' bed, his mom's arm was gently around his back, her other hand resting in his lap for him to hold when he wasn't too fidgety to hold still. He wanted to hold her hand more. Gentler. He wanted to rest his head on her shoulder and stay there, eyes closed, breath calm...

However he'd gone back and forth from having his head on her shoulder, to needing to sit up and fidget with his bunny or the edge of the blanket, while his chest felt like thousands of insects were crawling about inside it, making him feel incredibly uneasy.

He'd been so happy to have his episodes spreading further and further apart...

It made him determined to keep them away for good.

'Woo,' he heard his name said easily, and his heart leapt in an instant as he looked up to see his brother at the door.

'Sangie!' he cried, dropping his mom's hand and his bunny to reach desperately for him. 'Sangie Sangie Sangie~! Come sit with mom and me come sit come sit!~'

His heart erupted when his brother smiled and genuine happiness radiated from his gaze as he came and sat before him, offering him his hands.

Eagerly, he took them, squeezing tight, however while he wanted to hold them gently and ask for a hug he really needed, he knew he wouldn't be able to keep still for as long as he wanted. Knew he wouldn't be able to keep calm for long enou—

'Nabi,' he suddenly blurted out, and with it, his stomach twisted in terror. 'Sangie where's Nabi where's Nabi she was with you where is—'

'She's with dad, hun,' his brother said gently, reaching up and brushing his cheek softly in a way that made his heart melt a little. 'How are you feeling?'

Swallowing, he tried to resist the urge to pounce back to his bunny. 'I feel gross,' he mumbled, and his heart tugged when he felt their mom smooth her hand over his back, rubbing gentle circles into him.

'It's okay, honey,' their mom said, smoothing her other hand down his arm. 'It's okay not to feel great all of the time. Sometimes, we have bad days.'

His heart ached, for inside, he wished with everything he had, that things would slow down. 'I don't like bad days. I don't like them, I don't like them don't like them don't want this anymore,' he blurted out.
