When Mingi awoke in the morning, he didn't feel anywhere near as sick as he had through the night. His head wasn't throbbing, he could breathe through a whole nostril, and his chest wasn't so constricted. He could feel the slight hangover that his tears had given him, but he wasn't ready to think about that quite yet.

And so breathing in the morning air, soaking up the sunlight beaming in the windows through their sheer white curtains, he was pleasantly met with the strong scent of Yunho, freshly showered and near. It was a beautiful thing to wake up to. He blinked open his hazy eyes and was met with the sight of him half sitting up, reclined against pillows and the headboard beside him.

He looked so good, shirtless, grey sweats, with Mittens in his lap, scratching her ears with one hand, and holding a book in the other—the cover incredibly suspicious, with a stumbled jaw and red lipstick on the man's cheek...

Blinking up at Yunho's face, he had half expected a permanent look of mild disgust and horror to be there, however instead, his features looked rather neutral.

'Mmm... Good book?' he asked, voice incredibly croaky.

Yunho instantly took his eyes from the pages and looked down at him, letting go of Mittens and brushing his hand back through his hair. 'Morning,' he breathed, ever so tender with him. 'How do you feel?'

He pouted. 'Fine... But you didn't answer my question.' Pouncing—albeit with less energy than he usually had—he arched up to try and see what he'd been reading.

Yunho tilted the pages to him, and when he realised just how many reoccurrences there were of the word "cock" printed across two page span, his eyes widened. 'Yun-ah!' he cried, voice cracking. 'I didn't realise your poker face was getting so good! You didn't even look like you wanted to vomit!'

Yunho let out an amused breath and rolled his eyes, discarding the book without marking his page with the kind of carelessness that proved he truly didn't have interest in it, and slipped down the headboard to lay with him. 'Desensitisation therapy,' he said, which made him giggle.

Shuffling closer, he let Yunho outstretch an arm and graciously rested his cheek down upon his shoulder. It was his favourite place that he knew oh so well, but he was pleasantly surprised as when he blinked down his bare torso and was met with their little kitten laying on the faint outline of his abs. 'Hello sweetie~' he breathed, patting her over her ears and dragging his fingertips down her spine. She was the cutest little thing, and now moreso than ever, he was sure Yunho was her favourite.

'Meeek~' she squeaked, pawing at Yunho's abs.

'Oh, she's so cute,' he murmured, melting down into Yunho's chest.

He was comforted by the feel of a hand running up and down his back.

'How do you feel this morning?' Yunho asked, voice concerned.
