Having heard Hongjoong and Seonghwa returning home slightly earlier than expected, Wooyoung had made a mad dash to run out into the living room and grab hold of Yunho and San, dragging them to stash away with Mingi in his room who was folding the last napkin roses.

He'd wanted everything to be ready for when they came home, but adjustments had to be made, and considering the entire flat smelled gourmet, he'd used the excuse that he and his brother had been just heating up what was left from the dinner while the devil had been over.

Surprisingly, they'd not even questioned it. Not even as Yeosang had stolen Nabi from Hongjoong's arms and he had shoved both his Hyung and Seonghwa towards the bathroom. 'Shower, the both of you. You shouldn't be holding Nabi covered in hospital germs.'

Hongjoong had looked betrayed, and Seonghwa had seemed incredibly ready to protest that he hadn't actually been working.

He'd hushed him before he could get a single word out. 'You've been in that disgusting den of germs. Shower. The both of you. Gross.'

And with a less is more kind of mindset, he turned his back and walked away, praying to god his near-shut door wasn't too shut to draw attention to the people he was hoarding inside.

It seemed luck was in his favour.

And as soon as the shower flicked on, the flat had erupted into quiet chaos, Mingi emerging from his room with a basket of napkin rose blooms, swatting San's hand away when he went to take one out and help them scatter them around the living room and over the dining table.

It had been kind of exhilarating and exciting, transforming their home so dramatically in such a short timespan. Yunho had been tasked with lighting the candles Yeosang set up around the place, San set the table and opened the champagne, him and Mingi dropped scented oils onto the roses decorated across the benches, shelves and floors, and finally, after minutes of manic chaos, when the sound of the shower shutting off deafened them, they all froze for a moment...

'Yun-ah baby,' Mingi whispered across the room. 'Lights.'

Nodding, Yunho flicked off the switch beside him, leaving the room to glow with orange candlelight.

It was perfect.

Only...

'There's something missing...' he murmured, trying desperately to think of what it was... Precious seconds were ticking by, but he couldn't think of what it—

Eyes widening, he ran to his room as quietly as possible, frantically rummaging through his drawers, until—

He smiled as his fingers landed on the final touch.

Three of the most beautiful photos he'd wanted badly to give to them, the moment he'd taken them, but had kept for a special moment... All from the same night, Hongjoong and Seonghwa smiling at one another, another of them kissing, and a third of them with Nabi, all cradled together as a little family.
