A/N: Kind of want to write more of young Yeosang, so I guess we're doing it 🙊

~ Twenty years ago ~
~ The day of the doctors ~
6 years old

Peeking around the corner into their living room, six year old Yeosang had been going to have dinner after his mom had called him, however when he heard his parents' voices all quiet, something made him stop...

It sounded like they were having grown up talk... Serious talk...

And peering around the corner, he spotted his brother sitting at the table alone, staring off at the ground, while his parents were standing in the kitchen...

'He said it was a coping mechanism some kids show who've been through trauma... Disassociation...' his mom said quietly. He frowned, trying to wrap his head around the big words. They meant nothing to him.

Diss-so-ton...

Di-yo-ton...

Di-so-ti-ton...

Was that the word for what was wrong with his brother?

'He said he'll come out of it when he's ready, but—... Yeobu...'

Both his parents turned and looked at Wooyoung sitting still at the table...

And he didn't like that he looked all alone, so deciding to pretend he hadn't heard anything, he ran into the living room, straight up to his brother with a wide smile on his face.

The doctor man had said he should be brave and give him love.

And so that he was determined to do.

'Young-ah~h~h~' he sung, climbing up onto the chair beside him. He wrapped his arms around him to give him a big hug—the biggest he could manage—before he took his cheeks in his hands and gave him a big kiss on the lips.

'Young-ah~. I made you something~!' he announced proudly, trying really hard not to look at the way he was totally ignored.

Di-yo-ton...

That was what was making his brother sick.

Holding strong and being brave, he dug a hand into his pocket and pulled out the thing he'd been working very hard on all afternoon, while he was supposed to have been doing his homework.

'Do you like it?' he asked, holding it out to him.

Wooyoung didn't look at him, and he didn't answer either.
