It felt weird being back at the hospital, but as Jongho wandered through the halls, all at once, he was reminded acutely of his experiences towards the end of his time there, as he found himself running into his old placement coordinator.

'Good afternoon, Gyosunim,' he said, bowing deeply.

He could almost hear his old teacher's eyes rolling as he stared at the floor. 'What the hell are you doing here? I thought you dropped out.'

'Ah...' he murmured, standing back up and rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. 'Yes... I'm um... Visiting someone...'

He saw his old teacher raise a sceptical eyebrow at him, however he huffed alas, brushing it off.

And it wasn't until it became evident that they were walking in the same direction, that he realised it was about to become very awkward, very quickly, walking side by side down the corridor.

'I have something for you,' his teacher said after the longest silence.

And he frowned in confusion, staring across at him as they walked. 'You do?'

'It's in my office,' he said as they rounded the corner and ended up at the elevators.

His old coordinator scanned his ID card, and it felt strange catching the staff elevator, rather than the visitor's one...

Alas, when he hesitated to get on with him, he saw the irritation in his eyes, and he quickly hurried inside before the doors closed.

'What are you doing these days, boy?'

He swallowed, keeping his chin high. 'I'm working at a doctors clinic in the city,' he said, feeling rather pathetic as he felt a wash of embarrassment. Admin were always the laughing stock, and he couldn't bring himself to admit that was exactly what he was...

Not that it wasn't already glaringly evident.

He suspected that was why his old teacher rolled his eyes. Was more than capable of putting two and two together and working it out for himself.

The doors opened, and he had to hurry to keep up as they entered the corridor lined with windows—the one he had spent so much of his time in. The educators offices.

'Wait here,' his teacher said, buzzing his card next to his door to get in and leaving him standing in the hallway.

Peering inside, he saw the man shuffling through his filing cabinets, and wondered what the hell he could possibly have for him...

However pulling his eyes away and checking his watch...

He'd only just started worrying that he would be late, for staffing shifts would have already ended by now, when suddenly, he heard his name...

'Jong-ah...'

Filled with surprise and intense emotion, he glanced up and out down the corridor, and felt his heart throb warmly when he laid eyes on none other than Yeosang.

In his dark green theatre scrubs, security tags hanging over his chest from a retractable clip attached to the front of his scrub shirt, he was carrying his theatre hat in his hand—hair a wild strawberry blonde mess. He looked exhausted, having worked twelve hours, and he could already see the fatigue in him...
