YOU POV:
I held onto the tree as I watched the sunset. The sun is red here on Centrax. A planet that is galaxies away from Earth. I always dreamed of what it must be like to stand on Earth. A planet under a yellow sun. I wonder if it would feel different.
"Y/N" my mom screamed at me from below.
I looked down at her.
"GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW" she screamed.
I groaned and rolled my eyes. I stole one last look at the sky before climbing down the tree. People on Earth got to see stars at night but we can't do that here. The nights get cold and vampires exist. They don't harm us mostly. No one likes them is the main issues. I made it to the ground and my mom yanked my arm before dragging me inside.
"Your hands are freezing cold. You better not get a cold tomorrow" my mom yelled as she dragged me inside.
She continued to yell at me even after we were inside. My mom threw me on the floor in front of the fireplace.
"Now stay here until dinner" said my mom.
She marched to the kitchen and I stood up. I started walking to my room.
"I said to warm up by the fire" my mom yelled as she slammed a wooden spoon down on the counter.
"I'm just getting something to knit a scarf" I said as I went to my room.
"QUICKLY" my mom yelled.
I rolled my eyes and made a face. Is it too much to have a family that loves me? I got some knitting needles and some orange yarn before heading to the living room.
LOKI POV:
I finished brushing my teeth and put a few small braids in my hair before putting my fake eye cover in. My right eye is blind. When I was a kid some human put garlic powder in my eye. Garlic is toxic to vampires. I haven't been able to see out of my right eye since that day. I barely remember it but that was long ago. I do have a eye patch that I wear sometimes but not today. I feel like changing it up a bit. I went to the kitchen for breakfast. My mom was here reading some papers.
"Hey mom" I said as I entered.
"Night sweetie" said my mom as I kissed her cheek.
"Are you working already" I asked.
"No, these are just letters from your sister. She said to tell you that she is fine but Florida sucks" said my mom.
I went to grab some breakfast.
"Well I tried to tell her they hate vampires more then anyone" I said.
I grabbed a apple as my mom flipped the page.
"True, but she is a adult so she can choose to stay there" said my mom.
She put her papers down and turned to look at me.
"What about you? Any plans today" asked my mom.
"I don't know" I shrugged as I took a bite of the apple.
I took the apple out of my mouth and swallowed the bite.
"Probably walk around town. Scare some humans, run some errands, maybe skinny dip if the lake if there is time" I said.
My mom frowned at me.
"Oh come on I'm joking. About the skinny dipping" I said.
"Good, because I don't want to hear about you bring naked in public" said my mom.
"Never" I said.
"And make sure you stay safe. I don't want you in the hospital again" said my mom.
"Okay mom I will" I said.
I left the kitchen with the apple and a blood box. It's a juice box but blood instead of juice.
