Well, he sure knows how to get under my skin, thank God no one noticed my annoyance. This is for sure going to be one hell of a ride, not only do I have to deal with Hyunjin but also his jealous boyfriend or whatever and on top of that Jisung being all smitten with Felix.

Really hope we can get our work contract over and done with as soon as possible.

I knew Hyunjin was taking a jab at me with the whole feelings comment and about his accident, he knew I was looking at him the whole fucking time. It's a feeling I never want to have again, never want to relive that night, that memory.

I was the biggest asshole there ever was, like who does that shit.

Apparently, I did.

"Earth to Chan." Changbin snapped his fingers in front of my face trying to get my attention.

"Uh yeah sorry mate. So, we can either talk here and go over things or go back to our place where it's more comfortable and laid back, maybe order some food?" I suggested.

"Sure, I don't see why not, more comfortable atmosphere might be good also a chance to get to know each other more." Minho spoke up. "Alright sounds good, Changbin why don't you go get Ji and Felix and then these three can follow us back to our place." I spoke.

"Looks like I get to see where the famous CB97 lives, and what your fame gave you." Hyunjin mumbled the last part so only I could hear.

Yup, this will be fun.

After we got to our place and all of us headed inside Changbin played host and made sure our guests were comfortable.

Things were being awkward, and I fucking hated it.

"Nice place you got." Hyunjin was taking in the space.

Jisung had already took Felix and was showing him around which kind of annoyed me.

"Yeah, for sure like we don't even have anything this nice." Minho spoke up.

"Who needs luxury like this Min, our place is just fine and homier." Hyunjin glared at me.

I couldn't help but let out a chuckle. He is going to do everything in his power to get under my skin until there isn't any more.

I went to the kitchen to order food and left them to themselves, I might as well try an act like a decent human being. I mean I've changed from back then but sometimes there are still moments...

After a bit I made my way back to the living room where everyone was sitting and talking, they all looked like they were having a good time and looked as if they knew each other for a long time. It's as if we didn't just meet a week or so ago.

Jisung and Felix were all clingy and it was making me gag, Changbin was talking to Minho about our work and seemed genuinely engrossed with each other but then there was Hyunjin.

Hyunjin was sitting there taking everything and everyone in, he was content just looking at everyone else being happy. At the same time, he looked lonely...even if there are six people in this room.

"Alright guys food is on the way, so you two got a game plan or something over there?" I looked at Changbin and Minho.

"I mean we were just talking about our concept and Minho here is coming up with the ideas. We all need to go over the schedule and what not." Changbin replied. "And we will, let's just be normal human beings for once and not talk about work until after we eat. I'm fucking starving." I chuckled.

"Always had to eat before work." Hyunjin muttered.

It's true, he always knew I got cranky if I didn't get food in my stomach.

"Ugh I can't think right now! I've been over this song a hundred times and right now my mind is blank." Hyunjin came over to me and sat down next to me.

"Come on baby you're just low on energy, but don't worry food is on the way."

"You know me so well; I don't know what it is, but I can't think straight when I haven't eaten. How would I ever get by without you."

It was the night before I had to go on stage and perform one of my new songs, I had gone over it and over it even Hyunjin knew the song almost better than me. We weren't a new couple at this point, and we still had our ups and downs but not to the point of our toxic relationship yet.

There were days when I would only eat a snack here or there and not even a full meal, I was getting nervous by the day. I was not only performing in front of a thousand people but to prove to my manager that I was ready for the next step in my career, the step that broke me and Hyunjin.

He always took care of me and made sure I got enough to eat and drink and gave me medicine whenever I had a headache or over worked myself.

Everyone would say he's the perfect boyfriend...

Why didn't I see that?

Soon enough there was a knock on the door and Changbin got up to answer it, taking the food and closing the door behind him he set the food on the coffee table.

"Let's eat!" Changbin smiled.

I brought the plates and silverware over and set them down my hand brushing Hyunjin's leg, but he immediately pulled back.

I could sense Minho's gaze on me, but I just carried on with what I was doing.

"So, we will eat, relax, talk, get to know each other..." I paused looking at Hyunjin.

"Don't look at me, you already fucking know me." Hyunjin growled. "Not any more I don't." I smirked.

Minho rolled his eyes.

"I don't think you need to know him any better than you already do, besides after our work is done are we even going to keep in contact?" Minho snickered. "I mean do your job well and I think we would do more work in the future together." I looked at him.

"Alright you two enough sizing each other up, let's eat and you're right Hyunjin he does get fucking cranky when he doesn't eat." Jisung laughed.

I saw a bit of a smile behind Hyunjin's eyes, but his face showed something different.

It was still cold towards me.
