When I woke up this morning, something had felt off.

I couldn't put my finger on it, but I didn't like.

Felix wasn't beside me and when I got up, he wasn't anywhere else in the apartment. I went to go feed Leebit and take care of him and then I went to go take a shower.

After I showered and got dressed for the day without knowing what the fuck I wanted to do or if I wanted to go anywhere, I just finished unpacking my things and putting everything away.

A couple of hours went by, and I just plopped down on my couch and Leebit jumped up on my lap pawing at me until he found a comfortable position.

It feels weird being here, being out of the institution, being on my own. I miss Minho, I miss us all being together. I miss the backyard where Minho and I shared so many memories together, I miss our mornings together and I miss waking up to finding Felix sleeping next to me and Minho getting so jealous every time.

I don't even know how long it's been since I've seen Minho, it feels like a lifetime even though I think it's only been a few years.

Felix hasn't had the chance to tell me much about the past few years and what has happened, especially with him and Minho. I still can't believe Minho pretty much abandoned Felix.

I decided to turn on the tv, flipping through the channels I landed on the news as something caught my eye.

Seems like the rain doesn't plan on letting up anytime soon and seems like there was a freak down pour of rain yesterday. The news had mentioned some accident that had happened because of the rain making the roads dangerous to travel on.

I really can't believe this weather we have been having, it seems as if it has gotten worse by the day. Being back at the institution there was maybe very few good days where the sun shined, other than that it was all gloomy and dark, cloudy most days but there were days upon days and nights upon nights with nothing but rain. 

I couldn't imagine being outside in such weather let alone driving in it, you can have one area free off al rain and clouds and the next few feet it can be sunshine and fucking rainbows.

I guess this was a crazy case of a steady rainfall to raining like cats and dogs, barely seeing in front of you, drive fast enough and you'll hydroplane right off the road.

Watching the weather and the news I kind of zoned out, I was listening to the rain outside falling, the wind whistling and blowing and the thunder in the distance.

Leebit suddenly jumped up and off of me, he ran up to the tv and began pawing at it. I couldn't understand what he was doing, why he was acting weird.

"Get away from the tv Leebit!" I shouted.

"Meow, meow..."

I sighed and rolled my eyes; I changed the channel and more crazy weather reports and news about the accident of a few cars. 

Seemed pretty bad.

I got up and walked over to the tv where Leebit was still meowing and pawing at it for whatever reason.

I knelt down and grabbed the cat, bringing him to my chest I was about to stand up when something caught my eye.

"Yesterday's accident was called a freak accident caused by the sudden down pour of rain in an isolated area, several cars were involved but no real answer as to who caused it first. Several injuries were reported and there was one fatality."

"We will have updates here shortly."
