Maura: I'm so sorry, Jane.
Jane: You're just doing your job, baby.
Lindsay: We're gonna need your boxers, too.
Jane: You know, I have processed hundreds of suspects, but I never truly understood how humiliating this is.
Lindsay: I'm so sorry, Jane.
Jane: Don't be. You didn't do it.
Lindsay: You didn't, either.
Jane: Maybe I did. I've got a-a void in my brain where there should be a memory, and I've certainly experienced the kind of rage it would take - to inflict that kind of an injury.
Lindsay: Just don't say anything else, okay?
In the Bullpen Watching the News
Newscaster: Detective Jane Rizzoli, of course, is Boston Homicides Sergeant Detective, and she's in the news. Sergeant Rizzoli is now a murder suspect in what some are calling a date gone wrong.
Lindsay: Turn it off.
Frost: This is a bizarre story. It's all over the internet, too.
Lindsay: What do we know about our victim, the phony artist?
Frost: Well we know she was a real asshole. And she was also a thief, a drug dealer, and a predator.
Lindsay: So she had enemies.
Frost: Here's something. She had a pretty pissed-off ex-wife. She wasn't getting a penny of the $39,000 she owed her in child support.
Lindsay: She'd at least get social security if she was dead. Let's bring her in for a chat.
Maura: How's Jane?
Lindsay: Terrible.
Maura: How are you?
Lindsay: Not as bad as Jane.
Maura: What can I do?
Lindsay: Just help her. Try to find something on her clothes or anything that can tell us she didn't do it.
Maura: You got it.
Maura goes to walk away.
Lindsay: Hey, wait. Check on Ma first.
Make sure she's okay.
A few officers walk out with Jane.
Lindsay: Can you guys give us a minute, please?
They walk away.
Lindsay: You want me to call your lawyer?
Jane: Yes.
Lindsay: You know they got to take you to the hospital for this.
Jane: Yeah, I know. For the rape kit.
I know the drill. Look, just do your job, Lindsay. Whatever happens, happens.
