Jane: Perfect Match. That's the building he was drawing.

Frost: So he must have been looking at it from...

They turn around.

Frost: There.

Jane: It's been vacant awhile.

Frost: Looks like it's in probate. Smart.

Jane: Probate takes about a year?

Frost: Free rent. Off the radar.

Jane: Let's go inside.

They walk inside. Then they walk down the hall.

Jane: Frost.

She points to the green dot on his leg. They go into the room. They don't see anybody. They look around and see a foot under one of the computer tables.

Jane: Come on out with your hands up.

Frost: You heard her! On your feet! Now!

He comes out with a duffle bag.

Frost: Your bag on the desk!

He puts it on the desk.

Frost: Hands behind your head.

Man: You guys got a warrant?

Jane: You got a lease?

Man: Well, what are you charging me with?

Frost: Trespassing, for starters.

Jane: Well, look at your little family business making your ATM cards..

Frost finds a machine.

Frost: Jane.

Jane: Yeah.

Frost: It's pretty hefty. Might have been competitive 10 years ago, but you're a little behind the times.

Man: You can't just do that. That belongs to me.

Jane: Thank you for admitting it's yours. It makes the criminal case go much faster.

Frost: You want to tell us what this is?

Man: You said it, man. It's a bad attempt at competing with Steve Jobs.

Jane: I have a hunch that you're much better at computers, than you are at lying. Come on.

They take him to headquarters.

At BPD

Jane, Frost and Korsak find out what the machine is. It's an encryption scanner. It steals peoples identities. They find out who the victim is and it's Colin Doyle. Paddy Doyle's son.

In the Morgue

Tech: Dr. Isles. This man is here to identify his son. This is Mister...

Doyle: Selsi.

Back Upstairs in Interrogation

Jane throws pictures on the table.

Jane: Your roommate and friend- Colin. Colin Doyle. You got him killed.

Man: I didn't know they were gonna kill him.

Frost: What'd you think they were gonna do? Pay you $250000 to find out where he was to throw him a party?

Jane: I'm the only one who can vouch for you with the D.A. and help you out of this.

Man: Doesn't matter.

Frost: You're looking at first-degree murder. Hey. You understand that.

He shakes his head yes.

Jane: Tell me who you sold the information to?

Man: I tell you that, and they'll come after me.

Frost: We can protect you.

Man: [scoffs] You can't protect me. Nobody can protect me. Look at Colin.

Jane: You understand you're looking at life, without parole.

Man: Good. Any life sounds pretty good right about now.
