"Of all the irresponsible-" Aizawa and Endeavor were big mad.

Okay, sure, I admit I'm a little amused by it but the more it drags on, the more draining it becomes.

Having to sit here on my couch and get lectured at eight o'clock at night wasn't exactly my ideal Friday, y'know?

I yawn and rest back against the white leather couch, "Done yet?" Aizawa narrows his eyes at me. "No, Ikari, I'm not done yet." Blinking at the raven haired guy, I tilt my head.

"Have you had your hourly caffeine shot yet? Your eye is twitching-" Endeavor booms then, "Shut up!" His voice very literally shakes the foundation of my house.

Aizawa shoots him a glare when I flinch, "Endeavor, do not shout at her." The red head directs his anger towards Aizawa now. Turning to him, he booms again, "She needs to be taught manners, Shota!"

I flinch again because his voice jarrs me. Aizawa activates his quirk when Endeavor's flames start to flicker. "I don't care. You don't raise your voice when speaking to my kid."

My heart quite literally bursts when he says that and I very feebly look down at my lap. It's actually so stupid how my lip quivers at his words.

His kid.

Sure, I call Eri and Hitoshi my siblings but Aizawa has never referred to me as one of his kids. The fact alone brings tears to my eyes.

I've always wanted...a dad.

"Fine," Endeavor must be looking at me now but I keep my eyes on my lap. "What you did was irresponsible, Maindo. Though, you accomplished the mission, you still put yourself in jeopardy."

I keep my eyes on my hands as dubious queried fly through my brain. "Isn't that what heroes do? Put themselves in jeopardy for the greater good?" That sure as hell silenced him. With a parting sigh, I hear him walk across the tiled floor.

"Recouperate over the weekend, Maindo. Be at the commision for seven a.m Monday morning, we need to discuss our next plan of action." I hear our front door open and close.

Still fighting back tears, I look up at Aizawa as he sighs. His eyes flit over my facial features before he huffs and sits down next to me, "You okay, kid?"

I sigh and blink heavily to stop from crying. Inside, I'm a sobbing mess. He just called me his kid. I'm undoubtedly throwing a party in my mind.

"Mhm, sure am." I feel him put a hesitant arm over my shoulder and my heart squeezes tightly. I nestle into his side at his contact and I try to fight the exuberant smile threatening my lips.

"You sure? Don't let Endeavor get to you, he's just an asshole." I chuckle at that and shake my head. His hoodie string attracts my attention and I start playing with it.

"Trust me, I know." Just then, I hear two voices fade into the sitting room. "Get back here, Eri!" Hitoshi shouts over her giggles. She runs around the couch and he reaches to grab her.

"Dadda, help!" Aizawa pulls my little sister towards his other side as she climbs atop the couch. Hitoshi goes to grab her and Aizawa speaks, "Don't touch my daughter."

The purple haired boys' mouth drops, "She pawned my Manga off to Bakugo!" I chuckle a little at that because Eri sticks her tongue out at him. "And? She probably had a good reason."

Eri nods her head adamantly while I keep under Aizawa's other arm, snuggled up to him. "I traded it for Maid-Sama!" Hitoshi's eye twitches as Aizawa speaks again, "See? Perfectly good reason."

"You're only saying that cause she's the favorite, dad!" Eri giggles and I speak up then, "Um- actually, I'm the favorite." Smirking, I place my hand on my chest.
