After Jin successfully but with a lot of difficulty got Aika to go home, promising her that he would tell her when he knew what was happening. Jin went upstairs to his bed. He had sold Ban's bed, he didn't want to sleep in the same bed Ban died in. But he had moved the letter from under Ban's mattress to under his. Lifting his mattress and pulling out the enveloped letter reading.

"Who you are"

Jin looked at the letter, only told to read it when he pulled that string. Because when it was pulled Jin's life would be very different. Permanently.

Jin took a deep breath as he would say that the moment is now. Opening the envelope and pulling out the paper, looking at what the letters said.

"*Sigh*"

Jin: {Really? The first word in your after-death letter is a sigh?}

Jin looked at it as he couldn't help but smile looking at Ban writing down his stress even after death. But Jin forced his smile down and read it again.

"*Sigh* So you pulled the string. I guess I couldn't adapt fast enough to surpass mortality, but before I tell you what I mean by that, let me tell you what I know of what you are Jin. What I saw you as the moment I met you and what I came to learn you as when I cared for you.

Jin, you are what's known as a Kitsune. Judging by the amount of power I felt from you back then, you're no normal one either. A special one that is known as a nine-tailed Kitsune. It's almost certain your guardian knew about it because nine-tailed Kitsune are supposed to be limited to the bloodline leaders of Kyoto."

Jin: {She... she knew?}

"I don't know why it was hidden from you. I don't know what past you might have come from for it to be hidden from you. But do not blame your guardian. Your energy was sealed in a way so you could get it back yourself. However, it didn't stop you from accessing the power due to your innate talent. She likely only wanted the best for you. Again I don't know why it was done, but that's only more reason you should go back to know why.

Now while I don't know much of your past, I do know much about a Kitsune. You are a fox-like species of Youkai. A supernatural species out of the many in the world. As a Kitsune Jin, you have naturally great reflexes and heightened senses, as well as the ability to shapeshift. That's why you looked human, because your energy was sealed so you couldn't change back. But you're also capable of completely transforming into a fox. Lastly, you have the natural ability Kitsune are known for, the ability to create and control Fox Fire. A blue flame that burns much hotter than regular flames.

The Senjutsu and Youjutsu I taught you, it's only able to be used by Youkai and even then, I doubt there are any that can use it to the extent I've taught you. But I can feel a question coming. Why can I a human use it, this goes onto something else important.

I was the holder of a Sacred Gear called The First Head of Hydra. A Sacred Gear is an item with powerful abilities bestowed upon Humans by the dead Christian God. My Sacred Gear The First Head of Hydra has powers centred around adaptation and while it works on the adaptation of your environment, situation and stimuli you push yourself through. Its owners will heavily influence it and what it adapts to. It has a minor ability to heal in which missing limbs regrow over a month. That is also why I had so many scars on my body despite how deep and fatal they looked. This Sacred Gear of my is also how I beat Garo, he devoured real monsters and supernatural beings to become one. My will with the Sacred Gear pushed my human body to adapt and I developed the ability to use Senjutsu and Youjutsu unlike him who used his monstrous body and magic.

My Sacred Gear is also the reason I could stay with you so long. I was destined to die much earlier on. But I tried to adapt to my own mortality to stay for you. But it seems if you are reading this letter, I tried all too late with the affliction I was suffering from. Using a technique I found, I know before my life ended, I gave you that Sacred Gear. A gift to you in case you need it. If you're reading this, I definitely didn't need it any more. Mini

Jin I'm sorry I couldn't hold out and have left you alone again. But knowing me I selfishly asked for something.

Honestly, I don't know what else to write. The supernatural world is too big just to put on paper. But I'm sure if you are reading this letter, you'll experience it soon. Knowing you, you'll jump into it.

Jin you meant too much to me to write down, so I hope I told you how much you meant to me at the end. It has brought me no greater happiness than having you in my life. The world is vast and the supernatural world even larger. I'm just hopeful you can enjoy it, unlike many others.

Be strong for me Jin, don't cry like you did when you were younger. But know...

I'll miss you."

Jin: {You're an idiot to think I'd cry for a second time.}

Jin looked down at the note as a single tear fell from his eye onto the page. Rubbing his eyes as he took a deep breath.

Jin: {Damn it.}

Jin stood up, opening his draw and placing the letter with the only other thing in the draw.

Another letter.
