The haunted house had ended, though not without proper warnings from the authorities, the school and the Student Council. Jin, Mittelt, Rias and Akeno received congratulations from the police, Ambulance and firefighters who turned up. They themselves wanted to see what they were receiving so many calls about and they themselves were terrified despite knowing what was coming. The "realism" of the supernatural was so real to them. The school even congratulated Rias, Akeno, Jin and Mittelt as a group.

However, because they did too well, they were officially banned from making a haunted house again. If the school was to hold a School Festival again and there was to be a haunted house, Rias, Akeno, Mittelt and Jin couldn't be involved for fear of making it too real again. Sona also told all of them to never use their supernatural powers for School Festival purposes.

Given what happened, it was more than fair. Though Rias, Akeno, Mittelt and Jin were very proud of themselves for making the best-haunted house ever. One that even needed the authorities involved.

Now Jin was walking back home with Mittelt on his shoulders. She wanted to be as high as she felt happy that their haunted house was a complete success. However, they may have caused a bit of trouble for Sona as she had to stay back to perform school council duties. Ones that related to the school incident of police, ambulance and firefighters coming to their school.

Jin was sure to make up for it somehow. But right now something a lot more important was on his mind.

Jin: {I'm going to propose to Mittelt as soon as we get back home. Akeno said I just have to get on one knee. But... should I not say something? I... I don't want the love and romance to fade just because of my mistake. This is supposed to be one of the most special parts of a relationship. Have I really ruined it?}

Jin said as he was worried. Worried that he ruined everything with his stupid mistake. If he knew the things he knew now, before. He would have changed everything. By doing something so stupid, Jin had come to have his first regret in life.

Not making a proposal good enough for someone he loved.

Jin tried to think of what he could say. Something he hadn't said before. Something that could make this moment special and romantic after ruining it before. But Jin couldn't think of anything. He couldn't postpone giving her the ring. Kiba knew of it, now Akeno. It was likely Rias was going to find out and with the amount of people finding out. Mittelt was bound to find out about the ring, something that was supposed to be a surprise.

But as Jin walked down the road, Mittelt sensed Jin's uneasiness. It was easier for her to see. His thoughts were spiralling and gently she rubbed his head. Kissing it gently to calm him down. She didn't know what was stressing him out. What he was worried about. But she would soon find out what Jin was so stressed about.

Walking to his home, he placed down Mittelt and opened his door. Closing it behind him as they walked in. He didn't know if he should do it now. But he didn't want to regret doing it later. The one regret he had sent him spiralling. Not only had he gone against Ban's last wish. He ruined his proposal to Mittelt.

Mittelt: Jin are you okay? You...

Mittelt was about to say more, but Jin got on one knee and presented the ring box. Was his knee placement correct? What knee did he have to go down one? What hand held the box out? Should he have held it out with both hands? Didn't he need one to open the box?

Jin: Mittelt you are... I mean you're beau... I...

Mittelt looked confused as Jin seemed more nervous than he had ever been before. She had never seen him like this before and it was partially due to the reget and the flood of chemicals rushing through his brain. Something he was trying to control, but when he lost grip, affected him a lot.
