Ch 100 - Delayed Expansion

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Jin: *Sigh* You would think weekends would be the time when I'm least busy.

Jin said as Millet was on his lap receiving her morning massages while eating breakfast. Their daily routine after making out in the morning, something that Mittet always initiated. Though as she heard Jins exhaustion from his busy life, she gave a small giggle. Jin's life seemed to be getting busier and busier. With no one to blame but himself. Because he was the one who jumped head-first into the supernatural and made so many friends.

Mittelt: Yesterday you told me that Serafall said she was coming back, and now here she is. You should go see what she wants.

Jin: I guess, I'll be just a moment.

Jin said as he lifted Mittelt off his lap and placed her down on the cushion beside him. Looking at her smiling at him and her bare chest. Smiling as he walked downstairs and to the door which he unlocked. Opening the door in his usual morning shorts and a baggy top. A black baggy top this time. Looking at Serafall who was at the door but in different attire from her usual cosplay. She wore clothing that seemed to be of a rich noblewoman. She was wearing a long dark navy blue skirt with a dark green blazer. Holding many documents and papers.

Jin: Good morning Serafall, sorry about yesterday. I didn't mean to kick you to the curb like that.

Serafall: No problem! I completely understand. I just need you to sign the first and last pages of these, then I'll be on my way!

Serarall passed Jin a pile of documents and a pen, but he wasn't just going to sign any random documents. Reading them over as he flipped through the paper pages of the thick quantity of documents.

Jin: What are these for anyway?

Jin said looking down at the documents as there were deeds of ownership, planning permission slips, and construction notices. There were many many documents Jin was asked to sign. All of which he had to sign the first and last pages.

Serafall: Oh nothing much! Just everything needed to expand your place!

Jin: Oh o... wait what?

Serafall: Oh you should see the potential designs we've made! State-of-the-art equipment in the dojo, a sauna with a steam room to relax the body, and gym equipment for physical workouts! That's not even talking about the living floors!

Jin: Floors?

Serafall: Of course! The first floor obviously has the living room on with a large living area for the basic TVs...

Jin: TVs?

Serafall: Of course, a cinema room would be on one of the floors! There's no need to worry about being limited to TVs. The first floor would also have a state-of-the-art kitchen! Aikas also told me she likes cooking and I know Sona tries her best! Of course, on the first floor, the dining area would also be there. State of the art just like everything else. Then there will be the second floor which we plan to make one big room with changing rooms, closets, ensuite bathrooms and of course a large bed~.

Jin looked at Serafall and back at the paperwork. Looking at Serafall again as she seemed really excited contrasted by Jin's expressionless appearance.

Jin: So... there's the ground floor, a first floor and a second floor?

Serafall: I haven't even gone through the third to fifth floors! Then there's the basements! You're going to love it! A library, a pool, a cinema room, a private gym, guest rooms, dung...

Jin: Please stop for a moment.

Jin said as Serafall stopped with a smile as Jin overlooked all of the paperwork. Quickly flicking through all of it. Yet he didn't know why he needed to claim ownership of something. He already owned his house. He was also claiming from a company he had never heard of before. Jin didn't understand what was happening.

Jin: How do you plan on making this? My home isn't big enough to support this. Nor do I have enough money to afford this.

Serafall: Oh of course! The clan Sitri brought up all the buildings on your side of the street! They were surprisingly cheap and the construction company will be fast to remake your home! So no need to worry about being away too long!

Jin looked down at the papers as he held them out to Serafall who looked confused. Because Jin didn't seem very happy. If anything he seemed annoyed. A look nearly no one has seen on Jin's face. At least no one alive.

Serafall: What's wrong? Oh is it the dojo we need to make bigger?! Nothing is set in stone and we can customize it to your liking. We could make the gym separate from the dojo if that's what you are unhappy about.

Jin: I refuse to change my home.

Jin said plainly. With no hint of anger or annoyance in his voice. He was just saying what was going to happen. His home was not changing like this.

Serafall: What?

Jin: To help you understand, it's better to say I don't take handouts.

Jin took Serafalls hands to hold the pieces of paper he wasn't going to sign. He refused to sign them. Letting go of the papers as Serafall held them confused. Not understanding what was happening. She thought he would be happy like most people would be. Aika and Sona who set all of this up thought he would be happy with this. A bigger dojo, being able to take more people in. They thought making his small house bigger was something Jin would want.

Jin: I'm not taking anything from the Sitri Clan. Not the property they brought, not their money or charity. I take what I earn. I buy what I can pay for. There will be no compromising on the way I live. Now, goodbye Serafall.

Jin turned around and closed the door. Locking it as he didn't plan on letting in anyone today. His mood was spoiled. Walking back upstairs and leaving Serafall confused. As Jin walked upstairs he looked at Mittelt who was eating breakfast and smiling brightly. But as she looked at Jins annoyed expression she became confused.

Mittelt: Jin are you okay?

Jin looked down at Mittelt. Jin wasn't the only one living in his house. Mittelt was too. She had been living with him for a while.

Jin: You didn't know anything about these renovations did you?

Mittelt: Renovations? To what?

Mittelt looked confused at Jin, but he was happy about that confusion as he gave a small smile. Walking over to the table and sitting down next to her, gently lifting her back up and back onto his lap. Slowly her hugged her and held her close.

Jin: That's good. Thank you Mittelt.

Jin said hugging close to Mittelt and nestling into her neck. At that moment, Mittelt knew something was wrong.
