There weren't many of these Stray Devils around Kuoh. Jin only found one every week or so. But in those weeks he would take out Stray Devils, he would find out more and more about the supernatural world. He would also become more fluid with his powers and practices. Now he only had one thing to do. One thing important he needed to do and that would be to tell all of this to his best friend Aika. A perverted friends who was sat on his lap, legs wrapped around him and playing with his ears. His fluffy golden-yellow ears while he was in his Kitsune form.

Sitting at the table of his house alone, with glasses of water on the low wooden table. But Aika looked too distracted to hear anything Jin just said.

Jin: Are you even listening?

Aika: Yeah Yeah. Devils, Angels, Fallen Angels and the supernatual, really impressive. {He doesn't even know his tails are wagging when I play with his ears! It's so adorable!}

Aika smiled as she continued to play with Jin's fluffy golden yellow fox ears. He wasn't as sensitive anymore as it wasn't a completely new feeling. Jin also didn't ever show much on his face. But Jin didn't even know his tails were wagging. So while his face didn't show it, his tails did. His ears were feeling good the way she gently played with them.

Jin: So as I was saying, as far as I can tell, there are many supernatural species. But the main factions are the Devils, Fallen Angels and Angels. There was a war between all of them that decreased their numbers drastically, so Devils use chess pieces to make non-devil species into devils.

Aika: It's a weird choice to use chess pieces, not something cool like crystals or symbiotic weapons that they can use.

Aika said as she had seen manga of humans gaining power from weapons that were a part of them now. It sounded much more practical to have an item you could use giving you power, instead of a chess piece.

Jin: Don't ask me. I can only find out so much asking chaotic monsters. I can only assume so much based on the information I'm given. But I do know is when these non-devil species rebel against their "masters". The master can use the piece inside of them to in a way destabilise their power or what is technically foreign Demonic Power of their masters in their body. Outcasting them and turning them into more of a monster than they usually already were. That's why no late nights and no walking down alleys okay? These Stray Devils don't usually go onto main streets and they hide during the day, but they all have monstrous tendencies. You'll listen to me and stay safe okay?

Jin looked down at Aika who looked into his crimson eyes. Giving a small smile as she rested her head on his warm chest. Holding his tails.

Aika: I'll listen to you. No late-night walks and definitely no walking down dark alleys!

Aika said with a smile as if the very conversation was normal to her. The idea of monsters, Angels, Devils, Fallen Angels and magic not all that special to her.

Jin: You're taking the news of monsters surprisingly well.

Aika: You have too.

Jin: Well, I am one. {It also felt somewhat fulfilling when my powers were released.}

Aika hugged closer to Jin as she gave a soft smile. But it then turned into a devious grin as she hugged him.

Aika: You're my big monster~.

Jin raised his hand and flicked her forehead as she yelped in a slight pain. Looking at Jin while she held her red forehead.

Jin: There's only so much perverse behaviour I can handle from you.

Aika: Oh you like it!

Jin: No.

Aika looked back at Jins wagging tails. Looking at his expressionless face and back at his wagging tails. Aika smiled as she hugged him unexpectedly.

Aika: You like it.

Jin: {*Sigh* Such a perv.}

Jin placed his hand on the back of Aikas head. Holding her close as she relaxed on his chest. But then she threw herself back with a smile on her face.

Aika: WAIT! If Devils, Angels and Fallen Angels exist. Even the supernatural. Can you teach me magic?!

Jin: I don't know. I asked and they said human magic is different from supernatural magic. So even if I have remembered some of the spells they used, you couldn't use them. It was one of the first things on my mind, so I didn't forget about you.

Aika heard Jins nice words, but still hung her head down in disappointment. Even if magic was something a child obsessed over. Real magic sounded amazing and she wanted to use it too.

But Jin remembered something. Ban could only be as abnormal as he was because he had this item inside of him called a Sacred Gear, The First Head Of Hydra, but he had seen someone else abnormal in his life. An abnormal human despite the fact he was unlikely to have a Sacred Gear.

Jin: *Sigh* Aika. I'll... I'll see what I can do.

Aika: Really?

Aika looked up to Jin's crimson eyes as she looked at him with golden puppy eyes. Practically begging him so she could learn magic.

Jin: I couldn't leave you out of the fun.

Aika seemed ecstatic as she tackled Jin. Hugging him into the ground as she nuzzled into him. But for Jin to make Aika happy and help her learn the magic she wanted, he would have to go visit someone he knew in the past.

Briefly.
