Everyone had boarded the train and to say it was luxurious was to say the Earth was round. Something pretty obvious when you looked at it.
The train they were taking to the Underworld, had both fantastical and luxurious elements to it. So much so it was fit for any noble prince or princess. Any earthly royal or queen would have marvelled at the inside like Mittelt, Aika, Kunou and Jin did. The train was beyond the comprehension of regular earthly mortals.
The interior was surprisingly spacious and elegant, with plush, velvet-covered seats arranged in small compartments, each offering privacy to the passengers. The colour scheme predominantly featured deep reds, purples, and golds just like the exterior of the train. It created a rich atmosphere enjoyed by everyone onboard. Intricate carvings and arcane symbols were subtly embedded into the walls and ceilings, glowing faintly, something Kunou wowed at despite knowing some Youjutsu.
The windows lining the walls of each compartment were large and slightly tinted, allowing passengers to glimpse the surreal landscapes the train passed by. The views outside were constantly shifting, showing everything from voids of glittering magic to vast, dark forests. Scenes changed from glowing flora and fauna to eerie, swirling mist that seemed to move with the train.
Kunou was no longer glued to Jin's shoulders but instead to the window, with her nine tails freely out they were wagging in excitement. Like a dog sticking their head out of a car window, Kunou smiled with amazement looking at the sights. Her fox tails matched the excitement she showed and voiced. Audible wowing every time the scene changed to something new, her face glued to the glass.
In the centre of each compartment, there's a small table with magical lamps that floated above it, casting a warm, comforting light. The lamps were designed in intricate patterns that reflect the demonic heritage of the Underworld, with small flames flickering inside them.
Jin was sat down with both Mittelt and Koneko on his lap. Sat with the rest of their large group. He watched Kunou and her excitement, he looked at the attendants moving throughout the train, dressed in formal, old-world uniforms. They provided impeccable service, offering refreshments everyone new to the Underworld had never heard of. Something exotic to them and very delicious.
Jin had a beverage that featured rare fruits that created a wine, a delicacy only found in the Underworld. He took the whole bottle as many weekends with Azazel made him immune to alcohol and he wouldn't refuse a free drink. Especially when he knew Azazel wasn't drugging them to experiment on him.
Drinking the wine from a fancy glass he relaxed in the comfort of a plush sofa. With the comfort of Mittelt and Koneko on his lap. The low table separated Rias, Akeno, and Sona from him. A grand piano played a soft melody as Jin enjoyed his drink. Aika was looking at the lounge walls, plucking out books from the bookshelves that lined them. She was reading ancient tomes and scrolls, interested if anything could help her magic.
After learning human magic years ago, like a magician she had taken quite a liking to the study.
Akeno: You seem to be enjoying yourself Jin~. {He's finished more than half the bottle. Yet he doesn't seem affected at all. I would say this is his Sacred Gear, yet he seems to be experienced when drinking from that glass.}
Akeno asked with a smirk as she looked at Jin and couldn't help but dive into the gutter of her mind. Jin was a strong, handsome man. Drinking expensive wine with the look of experience. Two small girls sitting on his lap. Surrounded by other women of otherworldly beauty. She saw the attendants that passed and even when Jin didn't look at them, the female attendants blushed. It was as if Jin was trying to show off his women, his money and his looks. It was as if every movement he made was a pose.
The golden light made his crimson eyes more piercing. His golden blond hair was more prominent as if actually made from gold. His flawless face and sharp-featured glowing. Even gently rubbing the tip of his nose with one knuckle made a woman's nose bleed. Providing an air of mystery to him which was all in their heads.
Though to everyone who knew Jin, he was single-handedly the most and least mysterious person anyone could know. He was an open book to people, yet even he couldn't answer some questions people wanted answers to.
Yet he was only wearing his normal clothes, enjoying a new drink, drinking as he normally would. Gently rubbing his nose because it was getting itchy. Letting Koneko and Mittelt sit on his lap as Koneko wanted to and this was Mittelts normal seat.
He wasn't showing off, Jin was just someone people envied. Jin was someone men wanted to be and women wanted Jin to be in them.
Though the attention wasn't something Jin wanted.
Jin: It's a nice train. A lot nicer than human ones. {Though why is everyone that passes by looking at me strangely? Do they know I don't come from the Underworld? Maybe I look too much like a tourist. Maybe they don't have martial artists that dress like me and my clothes are foreign.}
Akeno couldn't read thoughts, but she could guess the misunderstandings in his head, giggling as she looked at Rias enjoying another bottle with Jin while reading. Then Akeno looked at Sona and smirked.
Akeno: What's going through your mind Sona~?
Akeno looked at Sona and giggled again, she didn't hear her as she was looking at Jin with a completely red face. Having the same thoughts Akeno had, however, with a slight difference.
In her vision, Jin was on a golden throne, sitting on it with his legs open, completely topless, his body glistening as Koneko and Mittelt on his lap were fawning over him. Both Koneko and Mittelt were wearing very provocative clothing, more skin shown than a bikini would show, collars and leashes on them in one of his hands, a golden chalice of wine in his other. His piercing crimson eyes looking at her, his lips softly calling Sona's name. "Come here Sona~." "Come to me my love~."
Sona: Yes my king~.
Jin: Are you sure Sona? Your face is really red. {Why did she call me king?}
Jin asked as Sonas eyes seemed to gain more clarity. Looking at Jin as her face got even more red. Darker than crimson. Her heart racing like an engine and her legs rubbing up against each other, quickly crossing them.
Sona: W-W-What?
Akeno: He was asking you if you were okay. Though I'm sure she's okay Jin, maybe she's just getting a little excited about your stay in the Underworld. {Careful Sona. Get too excited and you might burst~.}
Sona couldn't even speak as she was completely red. Jin could have sworn he saw steam coming from her body as she covered her face with her hands. Peaking at Jin and seeing a flicker of the daydream she saw. More steam coming from her as she could only nod to Jin's previous question, trying to get herself under control. A near-impossible thing to do so quickly as she hid her face in her hands.
Jin: What about you Rias? You haven't been too outspoken since we got on.
Rias: Oh I'm fine. It's just this piano piece reminds me of what I used to play as a child. It's nice to listen to this while reading and enjoying a drink.
Jin: {Rias can play the piano? That's cool.}
Jin thought as he looked at the man sitting on the stool at the piano. Playing it with his fingers pressing the keys as if caressing the melody out of the piano. However, Rias also had other thoughts in her mind. With Jin in the Underworld, secrets might get a lot harder to keep.
Gently Koneko rubbed into Jin, Mittelt matching her. Leaving Jin to drink the rest of the wine in the glass and set it down. Smiling, he gave Mittelt a shoulder massage with one hand and a gentle head pat to Koneko with the other.
Everyone enjoyed the train ride to the Underworld. Even Kiba who sat left of Jin, closing his eyes and resting.
Resting on a train that didn't really ride on rails, but flew through through dimensions using complex magic.
