Jin appeared in Youjutsu runes that appeared on his dining room floor. The two foxes in his arm looked around and what they saw, made them very very pleased. Because based on the kitchen and dining room, a classic Japanese interior, they could tell Jin not only had a really nice house, but a very big one. The two foxes spoke to each other in small, quiet shrieks and yips. Little barks and purs between each other as Jin watched them.

Jin: {Huh. Wait... if they're partners. I'm... I'm going to get baby...}

Sona: Foxes?

Sona asked as she looked at Jin. She had just come up from the stairs after feeling someone appear in the dining room. She was previously with Mittelt watching a movie in the theatre, but now she was looking at Jin not only holding two white foxes but pulling a black suitcase.

Jin: Yes! Two adorable foxes!

Jin said presenting them as the female fox cackled and licked the male fox who seemed less than pleased being called adorable. It let out a sound almost like a sigh. But Sona could only give a small giggle, walking up to Jin in black shorts and a baggy white top. A top where you could see her perky nipples. Giving him a small kiss on the cheek.

Sona: I know their foxes. But why have you got them? {I've never seen foxes so white. Also, they're emanating an energy not of Light or Devil origin. Is this what divine energy feels like?}

Sona looked at the two foxes as they emanated a similar energy Inari did. Divine energy. At least that was what it was called. The energy possessed by gods and divine beings. Including Inari, this was Sona's second time feeling such an energy. But looking at the foxes she could tell something, they were suppressing their energy.

Concealing their power. Maybe that was because they knew how to behave in the human world. Or maybe there was another reason for it. Sona could not make assumptions yet.

Jin: They were part of the compensation for the commission Inari asked of me. I took them from Takamagahara and now their my bonds.

Sona: Bonds? Do you mean familiars?

Jin: I guess so. {Inari said it was similar to contracting familiars.} Do you not like them? I can take them back.

The foxes widened their eyes as they looked back at Jin. Looking back at Sona. They looked in between Jin and Sona in shock. So easily they would have been given back. If Sona was allergic, they would go back. If she had a fear of them, they would be gone. If there was any reason they couldn't be here, it would have been sad, but they would have to go.

However, Sona saw their shocked reaction. It was obvious they didn't want to leave or part from Jin as they held close to his arm.

Sona: I think they're adorable. Besides familiars are a very normal thing to have as a devil. I too have familiars but I don't treat them as pets. They can transform so I use them as workers for human contracting. Do you plan to put them to work somehow?

Sona said giving a small look to the foxes. She was looking for a reaction and they gave her one. Another look of complete shock. They were just two adorable, supernatural foxes. To put them to work, it was the work of the Devil. Sona knew they were exceptionally smart foxes as they reacted well and whimpered for mercy at Jin. To put them to work straight after getting them wasn't what they wanted.

Jin wasn't so cruel as to do that either.

Jin: I have no plans to make them work. Pets are like family, so they'll be family living with us. If I go to the Underworld, I'll keep them by my side. {I can't really let a human pet sitter take care of them anyway.}

To Jin's words, joy surged through the foxes as they jumped up at Jin and licked his face relentlessly. Like small kisses, they were giving Jin many. Though they were licks, kisses that were tickling Jin. Letting go of the suitcase to hold them close.

Jin: That's right. No, worries for you two. Just relaxation, play, sleep and... well whatever you two do together.

Jin said as the two foxes looked again, in shock. They even looked at each other shocked. Such shock every time wasn't funny nor good for their small hearts. But Sona continued to look at them, even for animals she had never seen such intelligent ones as they knew exactly what Jin meant. Even for familiars, they needed to be trained. Like animals, some could only perform the basic actions and tasks taught to them. However, she was confused as to why the foxes looked so embarrassed that Jin discreetly brought up mating.

Sona: {What strange creatures.} Anyways, what are their names?

Jin: They don't have names. I'll have to think of ones for them.

Jin said looking at the two foxes. He wasn't bad at naming things. But he wasn't great. Mittelt was much better at naming, however, he wanted to name these two himself. He got them from a special god and a special commission. His first-ever commission in a realm of the gods.

Sona: Maybe Shiro and Blanc?

Jin looked down at Sona with the same look the foxes did. One fox had similar crimson red eyes that looked at Sona the same as Jin's crimson eyes. The other fox has a much too similar facial expression to Jin.

The names were shockingly bad and bland. But Jin couldn't tell Sona that. He didn't want to be rude.

Jin: I... I think we'll need to find other names. Right, you two?

The foxes turned to Jin and nodded their heads rapidly and in unison. It made Jin slightly giggle as he remembered the same situation he had with Koneko. He just hoped they didn't transform into people and remained foxes.

But as he looked at one of the foxes. The one with crimson eyes. He remembered something else. Names were important. They were supposed to mean a lot. Especially in Japan where names had meanings besides a label for a person. He had names ready. These were names he didn't plan to give to any children he might have had. So for these two foxes, it seemed like fate.

Jin: How about Taiki and Hinata? The male with crimson eyes will be named Taiki. The female with blue eyes will be named Hinata.

Before Jin could see their facial expressions, Sona spoke up. Jin told those closest to him everything about his life. Even the painful things. So Sona knew exactly where those names came from.

Sona: Aren't those your biological parent's names? Are you sure you want to use those? The memories, they could...

But before Sona could say anything else. Jin reassured her. Naming the foxes after his parents wasn't going to hurt him. He accepted that his parents were no longer around. Gone. It hurt, but their names wouldn't carry that pain. Instead, it would be the opposite.

Jin: It's okay Sona. Neither of my parents got to see much of this world or the supernatural one. With these names, I hope it means they can. {I don't know how the afterlife works with different religions. But I hope you get to watch over these two. Mum, dad.}

Jin looked down at the two foxes as they seemed to be frozen. As if a computer was suffering from freezing or buffering. They needed to close down windows or focus on something completely different altogether.

Jin: Are the names okay with you two?

The two foxes, Taiki and Hinata didn't need to look at each other to consider what to do. They found something else to focus on, jumping up at Jin's face as he stumbled back and fell over in surprise.

The two of them licked Jin's face. Kissing him as much as they could as he giggled. They were beginning to learn all of the places Jin was ticklish. He couldn't hold back his laughter.

Jin: I like you too Taiki, Hinata.

The licking only got more intense as they covered Jins face with saliva. But what he didn't notice there were also tears.

Their names.

They were more than happy to have these names. Because they weren't only names that had meanings and emotional connections behind them.

These names meant a lot more to these foxes. Jins foxes and a part of his family.
