Jin had been out hunting with Rias and her peerage. He learned of Rias and her Power of Destruction which he complimented. He learned about Akeno and her lightning which he too complimented. Kiba had begun trying to use the style Jin made for him and he was much faster because of it, he could also create stronger attacks using his momentum, becoming more effective at dealing damage to the Stray Devils he fought. Jin too complimented him on that and offered him advice.
But the one person he couldn't get to compliment was Koneko. She wouldn't let him. She was strong and she showed that. Physically she was very strong compared to the rest. She showed her skill in Boxing, Karate and Wrestling. Jin wanted to compliment her, wanted to try and make things right, but she turned a cold shoulder to him. He couldn't even say goodbye as he left quickly.
So he went back home with Mittelt, carrying her home like she wanted to. Walking down the dark, poorly lit street. But as Jin stopped just before his home, Mittelt knew exactly why, in the cold dark of the night, Aika was sitting by Jin's door, standing up as she saw Mittelt and Jin.
Jin: Please go inside for me Mittelt.
Mittelt: Gladly.
Mittelt was placed down by Jin as she took out her keys. Walking to the doors as she unlocked them.
Aika: Mittelt I...
Aika tried to reach for Mittet, but Mittelt quickly pushed open the doors. Mittelt didn't do anything else, but to Aika, it felt like there was a distance between her and Mittelt she couldn't reach.
Mittelt: Don't touch me. Just... Just stop.
Aika gulped as she watched Mittelt walk inside, walking into the dojo and then upstairs. With only Jin outside with her, looking at her without a speck of emotion on his face.
Jin: What do you want?
Aika: Jin... I... I'm sorry.
Jin: You're sorry?
Aika: Yes. I'm sorry I made you feel like I didn't care about your hard w...
Jin: Stop it.
Jin said as Aika tensed. Looking at Jin with red puffy eyes as she had been crying for a while. But as she looked up at Jin, crimson cold eyes looked back at her.
Jin: It's not about how you made me feel. You lied to me Aika. Because years ago when I asked you whether I was your friend or an object for your perversion, you said both. I was happy with that, you weren't ashamed of your perversion and you had no reason to be. But slowly, I became less of a friend to you. You didn't treat me as a friend. More and more I became an object for your desires. You even did so much as to manipulate me.
Aika: I didn't...
Jin: I didn't give you permission to talk.
Jin said as Aika silenced herself, looking at Jin who walked closer and closer to her. She was unable to speak or move. Only look at him with teary eyes.
Jin: You controlled the people around me, slowly you tried to change me into what you wanted. When I actually formed a connection with others, you made them feel that they couldn't even let me ask the question of whether they liked me or not. You wouldn't let them answer the question because it must have gone against your "plan." You left me confused. I was a rat trapped in a maze of your design. You were leading me to a certain point by placing walls in my way. Worst of all, you didn't even bother to consider how I felt about all of it. Your best and first friend. You didn't bother to think whether your best and first friend wanted what you were trying to do. If they wanted to be what you were changing them into. Then when it all went wrong for you, when you went too far too fast and I realised your cruel game, you want to fix it all with an "I'm sorry." An I'm sorry? That's what you thought would make this all better. That's the sum of effort you believe I'm worth. An "I'm sorry" was what all those years with you meant. Only a small apology to try and fix it.
