Jins birthday was going well. In fact, everyone was having fun. Friends were meeting each other, and Kunous overexcited mood was quelled by Koneko who took a liking to her finding out she could too turn into a fox. Holding her and stroking her. They were the best strokes Kunou had ever experienced. Even Kunou was promptly turned docile in Koneko's peaceful embrace.
The cake was enjoyed and everyone complimented Yasaka for her amazing work. Something she was very modest about. Food was enjoyed and so were drinks. Introductions were made and new friends were formed between each other. Everyone was having fun, music playing as they all spoke in their gatherings.
Saji: Look I'm telling you, there's something unnatural about you Jin. You shouldn't be able to grab my Absorption Lines.
Jin: I'm not doing anything special, I don't see why anyone else can't touch them. You can.
Jin said to Saji who was leaning against a wall. They were talking about their experience sparring with his Sacred Gear. They had been training during Jin's spare time, and he had also been sparring with Kiba during the Kendo club. After facing opponents with powerful Sacred Gear, Jin thought that it would be better to gain experience with others who also possessed Sacred Gear. If he was going to come up against a Sacred Gear user again, he didn't want to be lacking in experience.
Saji: It's my Sacred Gear! Of course, I can grab it! I don't know how but it just makes sense that I can!
Jin: I'm just saying, that can't constantly be your excuse for losing.
Saji: *Sigh* I know. I have to take responsibility for my losses and grow from them. But I'm only losing to you because you're extremely abnormal! You're freakishly strong!
Jin spared Saji, but every time, Saji would lose. He was losing to the point where he couldn't see Jins full power. Even with his Absorption Lines, he couldn't feel his full power. He was losing to Jin and Jin was having no difficulty winning. But just as Jin was about to say something, he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder, turning around to look at Yasaka, wearing her golden yellow kimono.
Jin: Yes Yasaka?
Yasaka: If you don't mind, could you take me to see your new pets? They're in your room so I wouldn't want to intrude.
Jin was going to say she could go in regardless, that she could go anywhere in his house without intruding, but he had a better idea. Looking at Saji to see if he could leave without being rude.
Saji: Ah, go be with your woman. I'll be with mine.
Saji smiled at Jin as he couldn't be jealous of Jin any more. Not about how many women he had or him having Sona. She wasn't someone to fight over and Saji knew that now. He had his own girlfriend after all. But his words caused Yasaka to blush. She just heard that she was Jins woman. It was something she never would have thought she would hear. Even someone else saw her as being together with him. Saji saw Yasaka and Jin as a couple, leaving them to go to his own partner Ruruko, as those two were officially dating.
Jin: Let's go to my bedroom then~.
Jin held Yasakas hand as she blushed more, walking together out of the room and to the stairs, leaving the floor where the party was. Walking upstairs hand in hand with Yasaka. But she tried to stop blushing around Jin as she spoke.
Yasaka: I was surprised when I was told you took in pets. You're quite busy, pets on top of that must be difficult.
Jin: It's nothing much. They're actually quite smart. They mostly take care of themselves. {I wouldn't be surprised if they knew how to cook their own food.}
Jin thought as he had once seen Taiki leaving the bathroom and heard the toilet flush. He didn't have just smart pets. He had very strange pets.
Yasaka: Just be careful not to overwork yourself. You're too young to work so much. Your younger years are supposed to be fun and relaxing. I still remember when all you would do was lay about all day~.
